yes most definitely. and everything seemed to update fine.

i went from the last version of 2.2… whatever that one was… directly to 2.31. could that be a problem?

I’m having similar troubles. My permalinks aren’t working with this new update. I have links all over my site and on messageboards so the default links aren’t an option for me. Can someone please help asap?

okay, thank you. by putting them back to default, it’s working… finally. not sure why this is happening. i’m using permalinks for another blog and its working fine. i’ll get on my host again. again, thanks a lot.

My host still hasn’t figured this out after over three weeks.

I just did an update to 2.1.3 for another blog and now I’m getting the same problem – all links pointing to the interior of the site are pointing to the home page, but the url in the address bar is changing. So it could be something from update.

And / Or is this an htaccess issue? And if it is, how do I fix it?

Please, somebody help me.

What happens when you update your permalinks? – Nothing

What happens when you switch temporarily to the default theme? – Nothing

Thanks for the speedy reply, but I might need a little more instruction. I don’t see a .htaccess file in any of my directories and when I create one with the above text – things kind of go haywire. Is there any additional text I should be including in the file? I apologize for being spoon fed by I’m really not that programming savy. I really apprecitate the help.

To update this. If I change the extension to .txt – the file downloads. Can anyone tell me how to have other extensions recognized?
