In reply to: [Elementor Header & Footer Builder] Unexpectedly GoodI think I need to revoke my comments.
Every time there’s an update – it’s been 2 times now within a month, I lose all my background pictures.
That’s too much. My site is only a month old, and its the second time half my images have just disappeared. That’s never happened with any other page builder on WordPress before. This time it happened just out of the blue, right before I updated Elementor. Last time it was after I updated WordPress – which was only a few days out of dates.

In reply to: [Bento] Read MoreHi there
And Happy Holidays.
I’m back trying to resolve this Read More issue.
Trying the code below in a Code widget in Page Builder,
<p><!–more–></p>
results in “Read More”and, same conditions as above,
<p><!–more–></p>
<!– /wp:image –>
<!– wp:image {“id”:1502} –>
results in “Read More”I copied the longer snippet from a post created in pre-gutenberg page editing using the read more option on the menu.
The result there is “Continue Reading->”This seems like it would be such an easy thing.
do you have any other ideas?
Many thanks.

In reply to: [Bento] Read MoreHello – I read through that thread and did a lot of CSS research, and while the thread is the same subject, he’s using a different theme and somewhat different issues.
On www.remarpro.com
they show you have to edit the index (php) to customize it.So is it true that since Read More in Bento doesn’t match the default Read More, to get these tags consistent from post to post, I’ll need to edit the index file?
Or recreate all my Non-Bento created posts in Bento.Editing the Index file is not a great idea.
I’d rather not recreate other posts, and I need the simple tag to be consistent from post to post. Please tell me what the mechanisms are (php, etc) to resolve this.
Many thanks,

In reply to: [Bento] Read MoreI found the code and inserted it using the Site Origin Editor widget, inserting it on the text side. I tried the two versions below:
<p><!–more–></p>
and
<p><!–more–></p>
<!– /wp:image –>The results are inconsistent with what appears on other posts created with something other than Page Builder.
I don’t see any other code I could use.
Do you have any other ideas? Thanks!

In reply to: [Bento] Post Titles Missing from Category PagesThat worked out well. Thanks.
And my mistake on adding an additional heading from copying and pasting text/code trying to escape from Gutenberg.I wonder if you’d be willing to share with me the developer’s tool you use to find the correct css classes, etc., to edit the correct item.
Okay if not.
Thanks again,

In reply to: [Bento] Post Titles Missing from Category PagesIt appears that sometimes the header appears twice, as in here
https://brigidgreene.com/c/travels/when the H2 is unhidden.
What’s going on there?Many thanks.

In reply to: [Bento] Post Titles Missing from Category PagesOh wow.
and Oh no.
It must be there for a reason.
Maybe for the archive pages….
I cannot change it and run the risk of breaking something deep in the site.
I’ve got to do a better job of notating the changes. Can I change the Post Titles to be h3?

In reply to: [Bento] Page Builder (and more) missing from Edit PostAh thanks.
I will switch out of Gutenberg. I just don’t see the value.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Bento] Page Builder (and more) missing from Edit PostI see now that this block editing is the new Gutenberg editor. For a couple of days it was requiring I use it. Now the page builder is back.
When I’m in the post created in Gutenberg, it doesn’t indicate Gutenberg and there doesn’t seem to be any way out of it.
Edit: Image of Edit mode of postEdit 2: I have access to the code editor, so I created a new post copying/pasting the code instead of trying to figure it out, but it pasted the code that forced the block editing. If you know a way out of this I’d be grateful
Thank you!

In reply to: [Bento] Pages are blank when viewing, but are not blankHI there – thanks for your reply!
I tried copying and pasting text to/from a Word document, and it worked.
I think the copyright protection I have may have played a role in the problem.
Sorry to have bothered you with this.Forum: Themes and Templates

In reply to: [Bento] How to Customize a Category PageHi there – I appreciate the fixes! Thanks.
I’ve copied and pasted the CSS snippet and put in Custom CSS fairly high.
.category #content { width: 100% !important; }
.category #sidebar { display: none !important; }I’m still getting the sidebar here:
