In reply to: insert from url not working for mediaApparently you have to link directly to the object and not the scripting [as on google photos] that encompasses the photo AND the UI around it. I still haven’t gotten it to work with 360 photos or videos yet….
This thing worked just fine before the update on GoDaddy.

In reply to: insert from url not working for mediaReally everyone? Almost 2 days and nothing from anyone? So no one else uses the Insert Media From URL function besides me in the entire WP community?
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: insert from url not working for mediaOk after calling GoDaddy and having them look at this issue as well across like 4 other platforms it appears that this is a bug in WP.
What’s going on is the Insert Media From URL function is carrying out an Insert Link function as if you clicked the button Insert Link on the toolbar in the editor.
As none of the fields that were present in the Insert Media From URL function are there and the only field is the one for the Insert Link function. So how long does it take WP to fix stuff like this?
Nope did it all manually. Have it fixed now.
Deleting that folder does not completely remove the plugin. If you do not remove the configuration from the database in the “aio_wp_security_configs”, when you reinstall the plugin it will pickup it’s previous config that will not let you log in to the UI. In addition you also need to delete the .htaccessfile as well as about 8 tables in the data base that are related to the plugin, although they are primarily logging data.
The first step of carrying out the instructions linked herein is loggin in to the WD site. As I cannot even login to the WP management UI this would present a problem.
However I was informed that clearing the contents of the “aio_wp_security_configs” object in the databse will reset the configs of the plug in to all blank. And it does.
Also come to find out there is an issue with the Captcha function and PHP. It appears that a PHP upgrade is needed.
So none of them have an “active_options” object?
In my config I have 2 databases “Information_Schema” and “offt321…….” [a bunch of numbers]
It’s under the second database, the offt…
The table of wp_[serial number]_options. The item you’re looking for is option_id “32”, option_name “active_plugins”.
Find the “active_plugins” option and delete it’s “option_value” contents.
you’ve got the wrong table and maybe the wrong database. as far as i know anyway…
Nope it’s labeled .._options and it’s ID 32. This will disable all the addons only, it will not uninstall them.
If you can access the sql database you can turn off all plugins and regain access to your site.
Login to the mysql database.
Open the database that holds all the configs, on GoDaddy mine started with OFT…
Open the table that ends with …_options
click on the browse tab
edit option 32 [it may be on the second page]
delete all the text in that option and save the table. This will deactivate ALL your addons, they will still be installed just deactivated. Go and re-activate all but the All In One WP Security plugin.
