The problem was an id tag.
Your plugin and the theme were both using the id ‘container’

That is why everything was displaying twice…because we were asking it to!

I was able to fix this issue. I found this page in the user guide.

I was able to use this as the starting point that lead me to altering a few files and correcting the conflict.
