Amazing, thank you so much! I know you didn’t have to do this.

In reply to: [Title Toggle for Storefront Theme] Storefront 2.2Same issue.
Enabling “Hide Title” doesn’t seem to do anything anymore.

In reply to: Safe to drop ‘extra’ database tables?Update: These ended up being BackupBuddy’s way to roll back the database to previous states. You can set it to backup only WordPress tables (minus previous states), or the entire database (to include these previous states).
Thanks again.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Product short description, and broken image linksExcellent catch on http and https, thank you.
It’s not quite as simple as serving the image from my server unfortunately. It’s an image that dynamically shows the number of projects that the community has created of this particular pattern. That’s why it has to come from their servers.
If the image was sourced from https this would work though correct?

In reply to: [Strong Testimonials] About the testimonial read more linkThanks for acknowledging it’s a customization issue.
No worries, I didn’t realize this until you mentioned it.
Thank you for your help, I don’t see the field values output on the single post however.

In reply to: [Strong Testimonials] About the testimonial read more linkOkay, that’s the right template. This is what I’m editing from the base theme:

In reply to: [Strong Testimonials] About the testimonial read more linkHi Chris, thanks so much. I’m using WooCommerce. I have their base theme of “Storefront” (free), and child theme of “Homestore” (paid). This complicates things a bit since I can’t edit their child theme directly, and use their plugin called “Theme Customisations” to make customizations to top level template files, along with css, php, jQuery, etc.
That said, I think I need to edit the base theme’s “single.php” file but I’ll do some testing. I’m comfortable editing php code with a walk through, but I wouldn’t call myself a programmer. I don’t know what’s needed exactly to display the author info, or this will affect anything else unexpectedly like blog posts or comments.
This is a customization issue, not a plugin issue so you certainly don’t need to help with this. I understand if you don’t have time, and would be extremely grateful if you do. I’m always up for learning something new.

In reply to: [Maintenance] Links are rendered with additavesThis fixed whatever the issue was and things are working perfectly.
I installed and removed a number of maintenance mode plugins, this may have had something to do with the issue. On the server side, in cpanel I disabled the default caching but didn’t help. I also cleared all browser data and cache from Chrome, Safari and Firefox but also didn’t help. I then installed a plugin to optimize the database, thinking it was an issue with previously installing / uninstalling other plugins, this didn’t help either.
Thank you for your diligence!
