Found out one new bit of info. I looked back at “all polls” clicked “edit” and found all my answers were missing.

I just edited it again and tried to save the answers. They all disappeared again.

This is all on the backend as I’ve never got a poll to appear on my post page.

I’ve deleted the text and replaced it. Also, nothing going into my spam filter.

I may have created the child theme with the wrong settings. When I did it on the practice website, I saw a link somewhere that told me to download Child Theme Configurator. It also may have mentioned what settings to use when creating the child theme. I saw neither of those things when I installed Hueman this time.

Yes, I need help on figuring out on where to place this code.

Thanks for the quick response.

How could they have become set to white? Also, how do I change that to black or dark grey?

I am using the child theme so not sure how to correct this problem.

I was looking at the site again. I may just keep it with the large images on the category pages.

Could you do me a favor and look at the site again and click on the specific categories? They’re located on the “Our Interviews with…” tab when you hover over it.

Can you tell me if you think those images are too large and will be a turn off for visitors? If not too large for you, I’ll go ahead and keep this theme and install it on the live site.

Thanks so much for the help. I’ve now downloaded the sample child theme and am running it.

I’ve begun working on making my featured images smaller. I’ve read about two dozen threads on the subject and have now done some copying over to the functions.php in the child theme. Thanks for the help.

I’ll open up a new thread on my current problems. But I’m first trying some more of what I’ve found on the forum already.

Imon, what plugin are you saying should be installed? You only mention “this” plugin but not mentioning a name.

For anyone who has had this problem and are looking for a fix.

I found a workaround which may or may not be the best way to resolve this problem. But it works for me just fine.

Go to your theme editor and find the “single.php” file. Open it and search for the following code. Remove it and test to see if that solves the problem. If it doesn’t work for you, make sure to put the code back. And whatever you do, don’t take the code above out or your entire sidebar moves to the footer. It took me a while to figure that one out ??
