In reply to: 5.3.2 Install IssuesThanks. It ended up being an htaccess issue which is now resolved. However, I am getting this error.
Warning: Use of undefined constant WP_CONTENT_DIR – assumed ‘WP_CONTENT_DIR’ (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/domain/domain/wp-includes/load.php on line 141
Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress.
Is there any way to remove signup on the front end and only create users manually and have them sign in via backend? I want them to contact me with payment information and then I create a username and password.
And, will this plugin work with Rockethemes?

In reply to: [Easy Video Player] Easy Video Player Blowing Theme Up & Not workingOdd that I haven’t received any help after filling out the contact form. The only think that has happened is the increase of HACKING attempts to my site. Is this person a legitimate person and why haven’t they tried to help or contact me?

In reply to: [Easy Video Player] Easy Video Player Blowing Theme Up & Not workingThe post I tested was under children’s safety. Click on the Children’s Safety on the navbar and the actual post was children’s security. It was blowing stuff up pretty good. Now all it does is to display the code.

In reply to: htaccess issues causing link redirectsI tried all of the solutions below and now it won’t even allow me to login to my admin. So, I restored the corrupted htaccess file and I am now able to login. But, the problem still remains.
I also tried uninstalling Bulletproof and nothing has changed. I hate to redo the entire site. Again, this install is under the same URL as the other but in a subfolder. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In reply to: Possible SPAM code on my siteWell, it wasn’t me. I don’t know if some plugins I’ve installed uses them or not. Would a “custom contact form” do something like this?
I have WP 3.8.1. Also, I have WP on a main site mydomain.com and then another install with WP and S2member in a subdirectory mydomain.com/training. I have tried to find a solution online but have been unsuccessful.
I am getting ready to backup the site and try it on another domain and see if there is some sort of conflict with it being under a subdirectory.
Thanks to Ethan for helping…
I downloaded another FLV that wasn’t working. I then deleted it from the server and then went into Add Media. It still showed up there which is bothersome. So, I downloaded several of the “non working” FLV files and then deleted them from the server via cPanel I then uploaded the files via Add Media Upload option and then they started working. As I suspected, for some reason the Add From Server plugin is corrupting things. Nonetheless, the problem is solved. At least I think. More to come if I try others and it doesn’t work.
Yes, but it is a subscriber site. So you won’t be able to see anything without going behind the scenes. I can provide you with information in an email if you want to have a look.
Thanks for your prompt response.

In reply to: Embed video code & Streaming inline video pluginsI uploaded them via ftp and then used Add From Server into Media Library.
Yes, I’ve looked at several plugins for embedding videos. However, I was hoping that someone who has had luck with streaming inline videos would reply with a plugin that works as advertised. That’s how I found WP Video Posts. I’ve tried a couple of other ones but I can’t remember what they were.
Also, I thought that you could just use the Add Media button but that doesn’t work.

In reply to: Add Media not workingWith all due respect, can ANYONE ELSE understand that you cannot start deactivating things in on a live site with thousands of customers visiting your site every day? This would be FOOLISH.
AGAIN, I WILL STATE, IT DOESN’T MATTER IF IT IS A PLUGIN, THEME, ETC. I’m not changing what I have installed because I NEED them.
I am simply asking for a solution that I can use that is not going to interrupt my services. My site would be DOWN if I did what you are suggesting. And that is not something that I can or will accept. If you truly have ANY knowledge at all, then you would appreciate my situation and would not ask such a thing.
I’m not asking you to correct the problem because I am NOT going to disable any plugins.
So, is there ANYONE who can help me with my request? Obviously Esmi is not getting it or will not help me if I don’t go through the senseless crap he/she is asking me to do. You NEVER shut a live site down for any reason when it can be avoided. That should be common sense!
