Just found out that it’s the setting in my WP Theme.. Parabola.. where I define that the excerpt should be 70 character for the news on my front page.. apparently that setting also work on your theme ??

You can see that all my news in the bottom on my front page shows only 70 characters: Link

I’m not sure I understand what you mean about a child Theme!?… I’ve chosen one the themes available and just changed the colors..

But you _can_ see that there is a “Read More” (L?s mere) button, right? ??

How could I have created it myself?.. Just to see if I can remove it the same place ??

I found it… It’s due to the plugin “WP Symposium” …

I’m unable to find the file.. Could you tell me if it’s a file belonging to All-in-One Event Calendar og WordPress og the plugin that is conflicting?
