In reply to: [Restricted Site Access] Locked Me OutIt is now resolving on Safari so I suspect a DNS issue the hosting but don’t understand why it would resolve on Chrome but not Safari. Mistifying.

In reply to: [Restricted Site Access] Locked Me OutI’ll check with the hosting in the morning UK time. I was wondering if it was a host cache issue. When I tried to add an IP I could not click the button. It was not clear what “identify” meant and every thing I tried did not work.

In reply to: [Restricted Site Access] Locked Me OutThanks for reaching out. Its a very new installation with few plugins and none that deal with caching that I know of. I’m using Classic Story Editor,Aesop Story Engine, CMB2 (associated with Aesop), and WordPress Importer.

In reply to: [Restricted Site Access] Locked Me OutAnd now after clearing caches it is available in Chrome but not in Safari even on a machine that has never visited the site. Very, very poor.

In reply to: [Event Organiser] Google Maps Not Working ProperlyOK managed to fool it into getting it right in Open Street Maps – there is clearly a problem with the plugin. I had to put in the town first not the street address then the other details and it then worked – not impressed. I’ll trey the same with Google next.

In reply to: [Event Organiser] Google Maps Not Working ProperlyIn fact Open Street Maps has a different issue – For Banbury Priory 10 Main Street Benburb BT71 7JZ it arbitrarily picks up the street address and goes to a map in the US somewhere and doesn’t rest when you put in Post Code etc.

In reply to: [Event Organiser] Google Maps Not Working ProperlySwapped to Open Street Map – same issue! Seems to be a problem with the plugin not with the mapping type.
Update cmd-C and cmd-v work which is good. I’ve stopped using right click as that doesn’t work. Overall I’m still very happy with Elementor – the Free version is awesome and so far enough for me. But if I have more sites to do will consider Pro. Be good to hear if right click can be sorted.
Update – it’s the same in Chrome. Basically copy does not work properly and system or browser commands come up as well as the Elementor ones. Is this a Mac OS X problem or clash? I’m on 10.10.5
Thanks for that. I just could not get the free version of Duplicator to work. In the end my first site to migrate is quite quiet so I went back to an old BackUp Buddy backup and used Import Buddy to successfully restore it to new cPanel hosting. Because the hosting I was recently forced to go to doesn’t support Cron jobs it has been much more difficult than it should be. I’m now faced with manually downloading 2 busier sites and manually uploading them to the Cpanel hosting – not looking forward to it! And now Duplicator failed on the quiet site I have no confidence that it would work for theses busier sites. With Cron available BackUp Buddy is very good.

In reply to: [Discussion Board - WordPress Forum Plugin] Seems to stop login to WP-adminAll fine except I can’t see how to make the Discussion fully visible – it says my test has replies and voices but neither can be clicked and viewed!
