In reply to: [MF Gig Calendar] Event info removed from site too earlyThanks for your comments!
I’m not sure why your version would be pulling events off the site before the day is over – unless your webhost is in a REALLY different timezone or your shows are starting after midnight. I’m purposely not basing sorting on time of day to keep things simple so I’m afraid I can’t add anything that would help with your 8-hour suggestion. That’s beyond the scope of this plugin.
I’m working on a way to create categories. So that may help you with your second request! Stay tuned.

In reply to: [MF Gig Calendar] Date RangesAs of 0.9.9 you can limit your event list to display only a certain number of days into the future. See the new shortcode options in the About section of the plugin admin.
Hope that helps!

In reply to: [MF Gig Calendar] Spacing IssueJust a guess without seeing your site – but most likely either you have
<pre>
tags around your shortcode or you’ve got something in the CSS for your theme overriding the layout of the calendar.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [MF Gig Calendar] Date RangesThanks for the suggestions. I’ll add these to the feature list. Your first question/idea is something I’ve already been thinking about adding so look for that soon…

In reply to: [MF Gig Calendar] only 5 gigs showing?No. It should show all future gigs by default and past gigs are displayed as part of the archive.

In reply to: [MF Gig Calendar] Archive ListingsI’ll be adding a bunch more options you’ll be able to use in the short code and hopefully will give you what you need. Look for it in an upcoming update…

In reply to: [MF Gig Calendar] Don't want to show events as posts on home pageHey guys. MF Gig Calendar doesn’t save it’s data as any sort of post type, so you will not be seeing it appearing as a post anywhere on your site. I’m guessing you’ve got some old data from another plugin or something…?

In reply to: [MF Gig Calendar] RSS feed doesn't workHey Ed –
The RSS feed was not being rejected by MailChimp for me – it just didn’t include all the information in the “description” so you weren’t seeing it all there! In the next update I’ll be adding the option of deciding how much information you want to include in the basic RSS information so users can customize it more – and I’m testing it with MailChimp now…
I’m also including all the information as individual custom XML content so a custom RSS scraper could use the information more specifically. I figure that will be useful for someone.
Look for that to be out soon.

In reply to: [MF Gig Calendar] RSS feed doesn't workWell frankly this doesn’t surprise me. The RSS feed was sort of an afterthought and I have yet to find time to really work on it. I got it as far as not burping up any errors in my RSS reader and left it there until a later date.
I don’t really use RSS but thought it would be a nice feature to add for folks who do. I actually included it in an early release completely by accident and figured I’d just leave it there and that I would get it working 100% soon enough.
Now you’ve called me on it and I’ll have to get it working. Sigh… Always something to do…
