In reply to: [WooCommerce] Disbabling Product Reviews Site-WideI’ve downloaded the WPLMS file from Envato Mkts. I can see a file called ‘functions.php’ but not ‘func.php’ which seems to be the problem one.
Is it the same thing?Any ideas?

In reply to: Disabling 'Reviews' attached to ProductsOkay thanks – I think the reviews bit is part of Woocommerce, or BuddyPress.
I’ve been on WPLMS forum for this, but have never got a correct answer. People think we want to disable reviews for one course, but we want to do it for the entire site, and no-ones been able to help.bh

In reply to: Newbies just did first WP upgrade – need it checked plsPPS – we have an update message to update our ‘theme’ to ‘twentyfourteen’ but the example shown is of a ‘online magazines’ theme, whereas ours is WPLMS (learning mgt system) for online courses.
Should we do this update? Or will it install a theme we have never used, therefore ruining all settings & plugins etc.
We have only ever used WPLMS theme package.
Thanks,
bh

In reply to: Newbies just did first WP upgrade – need it checked plsPS – Since the upgrade, our Woocommerce will no longer allow ‘guests’ to purchase at checkout (ie people who havent set up a signin/login account).
We have ticked the ‘allow guest’ option in WC settings..so we are thinking our web design guy (who we’ve lost contact with) prob. added some code to allow this.
Can anyone help us? We are total newbies.
Thanks

In reply to: Newbies unsure & scared of theme & WP first update!!PS – I have been having a look at how to backup the database to C drive – but one question is: Do I have to have a phpMyAdmin plugin in my WP site? Or can I just access that thru my host server (HG) when I go to Databases folder, and select the icon that says this?

In reply to: Newbies unsure & scared of theme & WP first update!!And one more thing if I can. Do I have to upload the html file to my host-server (HG) or does the automatic update take care of all that sort of stuff?
