Issue has been resolved. Switched to another plugin. Thanks
I have over 100 sites your plugin installed on. It is a completely ridiculous expectation that I need to manually delete your plugin to get rid of security warnings. You are creating unnecessary concerns for me.
It shouldn’t be a necessity for users to manually delete your plugin in order to avoid unnecessary warnings that the Repository version is different from the installed version.
What a shame, you think that’s the way things should be done.
Guess I don’t need your plugin that much. Thanks
Thank you.
Something you should consider before making a change and not changing the number to invoke an update is that many, MANY people use security plugins that compare files in the repository with what is on a website. That plugin will send notifications to the people running those websites.
They have to make decisions based on what they know about the plugin being reported. Without notice of a change, people (given knowledge of recent plugins that have been used maliciously) become concerned about what is going on with the plugin being reported.
Consider the problems you can cause website owners unnecessarily by just changing files in the current version of your plugin without letting people know there have been changes.
Please do an update on the number of your plugin. I run over 100 sites I have your plugin on. I shouldn’t have to go and delete the one on my site to get rid of that notice. You should update your plugin so that others don’t have to wonder what you did.
Thanks

In reply to: [Toolbar Remixed - Free] Easy to Control WP ToolbarFirst, you reviewed on behalf of two sites, the site you sell from and the site you now claim you reviewed on behalf of.
BTW, I haven’t advertised the site that reflects my username anywhere here. Whether or not that site is even being used is of no concern here, and your bringing it up only reflects your antagonistic attitude toward someone who paid for something that is not complete and called you on that.
IMHO, your review is nothing more than a sales pitch for your paid version.
Your free version works as it should, and is very limited. Your “review” of the paid version, rather than your free version only attempts to capitalize on the fact that you have a very limited free version. Had you not “reviewed” your paid version, I would have said nothing about it. But, since you did, I did. If you don’t like that, then maybe you should think about your own motivations for “reviewing” your own paid plugin..

In reply to: [Toolbar Remixed - Free] On it's way, but not quite there. With all due respect, I included my comment on the free plugin being “very” limited, because this is actually the place for reviewing the free version of your plugin. I reviewed your paid plugin because that is what you reviewed.

In reply to: [Toolbar Remixed - Free] Easy to Control WP ToolbarWhy are you reviewing your own plugin with a different username? Your site ‘siteguru.biz’ is the site used to purchase the plugin you are reviewing.
That isn’t really an unbiased opinion and I don’t think you should do that. IF you are going to review your own plugin, use your developer name, rather than creating a new one. That comes across as kind of sneaky.. and doesn’t really promote trust in what you are doing, once people find out you are reviewing your own plugin giving yourself 5 stars.
In my opinion, that is very close to spamming.
