Okay, I seem to be the only one replying to my pesky plugins problems so I’ll just keep updating as I struggle, I’ve now found that setting the url to ‘www’ had no effect on the function of Related Posts. (forget about the calendar, I’ll skip that) all I want is to get someone to help me make any of the related posts plugins work. I’ll even PAY. in fact I’ll pay someone just to REPLY any of my posts regarding related-posts. maybe up to a million. who knows.

I wish I could say that that made the Nice-Related-Posts work but it did not.
Still hoping that I can get assistance with another kind soul on that one.

since I haven’t heard back from anyone here on the Nice Related Posts plugin and have not been able to get any response from the plugin’s home page, I tried the older Related plugin from Anne van Kesteren & Mark Ghosh but am showing errors on the page. both these plugins are older I see and their home sites have posts from 2004 so I’m wondering, are there any NEWER related posts plugins or anyone who can help me with either of these two? I’ve been able to install both but unable to implement either.

I don’t care really if they are sorted alphabetically, just that I don’t want them listed by date. I just installed the blog and a WP theme and posted and in big letters across the top is the DATE. I want the TITLE to be there. I’m studying the Dissection of a Theme to see if this is simply a change in CSS or the theme I’m using. I was hoping there was an option from admin to opt to list them by titles but I bet not. I’m trying to create a newspaper online, so there will be tons of stories, don’t want a whole long page that lists “MAY 21, 2005” over and over again.

I need to be able to upload TEXT and IMAGES. hoping to be able to FTP Word documents, not sure if I’m going to be able to do what my client needs. They want to put their NEWSPAPER daily on a blog… lots of Copy/Paste!

Permalinks were the problem and for now I’m just gonna do without them, at least till the thrill of having category links that actually work wears off. ?? and I’ll take your advice and play with this thing – see if I can break it.
Moshu, your tutorial for creating static pages works like a dream. I did run into that path-to-header error when I tried using the plugins so your hand-made template has my vote! many thanks to you too.

I’m more willing than able but as soon as I invert that ratio I’ll gladly do a doc ??
