In reply to: Maintenance – stalled upgrade updateUPDATE: yes, govpatel, the site comes up fine for me now, too. Thanks so much for checking!
BUT: I cannot log into admin.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_network_admin() in /web/sites/pamulex/texttr.com/wp-admin/includes/template.php on line 1665
Any help for this? this is line 1665:
if ( is_network_admin() ) $screen .= '-network'; elseif ( is_user_admin() ) $screen .= '-user';
Thank you so much – any help greatly appreciated.

In reply to: Upgrade 2.8.3 cannot make changes to pagesNo, I didn’t ‘regenerate’ anything. But it is not JUST that I can’t link to a newly created page, it’s also that if I add an image to an EXISTING PAGE that image does not show up, if I edit a page with text, that text does not show up. so the page is called correctly in that case, just no changes possible. I’m sick.

In reply to: NextGen-Gallery Sidebar Slideshow Widget not showingFound it…
I had the correct path to imagerotator content/uploads/
BUT I needed to enter the entire string:
/content/uploads/imagerotator.swf which pops those images in perfectly.
Sorry for the post! Hope this helps someone.Forum: Plugins

I kept looking and there is also an instance of <!–PicLense link –> on GALLERY..PHP file within that same Nextgen-Gallery/View/ directory and that one outputs the link I want for View with PicLens.

In reply to: conflict ContactForm vs Related-Posts PluginsIt may be that the two are not related. My Nice-Related-Posts is now not working at all with or without the contactform working. If it had NEVER worked it would almost be more acceptable. But it worked beautifully for a day. I tried retracing and undoing everything I did that day but no help. for a while I thought it was htaccess/permalinks related but who knows.

In reply to: 2 pesky plugin problemsif this helps anyone else, I did solve this problem finally. it was a COOKIE issue. I got there by starting over with a reinstall which I am sure was not necessary but once I deleted cookies and changed in Options to the ‘www’ url, the site was able to authenticate again since the original cookie or session was set for the www-less version. I’m probably not explaining it correctly but maybe just the ‘cookie’ part can help someone else in a similar situation.

In reply to: 2 pesky plugin problemsthanks, snaerff, unfortunately I’ve tried the ‘w-a-s-a-b-i’ one, and all the others. something is really messed up. I tried to fix everything by switching to ‘www’ url under Options and that made my Contact Form plugin not work so I switched back to without ‘www’ and it still doesn’t work, because now I can’t create new pages. I think I need to clear the slate, delete the site, reinstall and start from scratch, I’ve been trying for two weeks to make related-posts work and I’ve only made things worse. sorry for my frustrated tone. WP is really hard (for me) and I shouldn’t have taken it on. sorry for the ‘pay’ remark, I was truly willing, and I PROMISE to stop posting now. :))
