The problem with this plugin: It is no longer supported by the company that makes it. You will notice that nobody from Time.ly has replied to anything on here in many months.
I had a problem with events no longer displaying properly, see here, so I submitted a ticket. All I got was a reply that they can’t do that kind of service and that I should pay for their hosted calendar instead. I told them that version 2.6.2 still worked fine, that the problem appeared with 2.6.3. I sent more tickets, after investigating more, I even made a copy of my site and deactivated all plugins, removed the calendar themes, went to the twentytwenty WP theme – and the error was still there. So, it was clearly within the Time.ly plugin.
At that point, they simply stopped replying, they even stopped sending the hint that I should pay for the new calendar (which for my site simply does not work).
Now we are on 2.6.7 and the error still exists. So, this is an amazing plugin, and I picked it for some rare functionality (ability to properly subscribe to the calendar from your phone or computer) – but unfortunately, It should be considered unsupported now.
That sounds like a great idea. One only needs to remember to edit the post before deleting it…
Which I of course can’t do with those that I already deleted…Here is what came out of my, inquiry – quoting what Smash Balloon told me:
The Facebook API has a bug which is causing deleted posts to still show up. Unfortunately, there is nothing in the API that indicates the post has been deleted so our plugin has no way of knowing it has been deleted. There is currently a bug report open with Facebook regarding this issue which we are monitoring.
They hinted that it would require some code to list posts that should be suppressed (the list you’d probably have to update every time this happens).
I think that depends on the theme.
My theme, in its configuration screens, has a box somewhere for “custom CSS” snippets.
You just put it in there, no particular sequence.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Mobile viewI don’t think there’s a shortcode for that.
I had a similar problem (have a page with shortcode, even though it was not my homepage), and it did not work. The settings appear to work only on that page that you have specified as the “calendar page”.
I need to try that. I have had a few email conversations with them (before the threads about this problem even showed up here) – and the bottom line was: Yes, they will make rudimentary fixes to keep it running, but they are not supporting this product anymore because they want to sell their new “Journey” calendaring option (without a free tier and with some important information and possibilities missing).
My solution for the problem: Downgrade to PHP 7.3 and calendar version 2.6.2 (which did not have this error). Until they hopefully fix the problems.
My hope: They still read this forum without replying to it, and include solutions in their new versions of the product.
Keeping the old version might buy some time to find an alternative…
I just sent it – your system assigned ticket number 14659.
Thanks a lot!Thank you for getting back to me!
Unfortunately I can’t do that because I have only one installation (which is live) – and I can’t swap out my theme: I have tried that before – and it destroys half of my settings – it would take me days to get this back into working shape.
Is there any kind of log that I can create that might help investigating this??Thanks a lot!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Subscriptions: How to show cart for manual renewals?Thank you for your reply!
I am just wondering about your statement that there is no cart in this process: When I am on the checkout page I see the icon with my cart – and with one item in the cart. I can click on the cart and see that it holds my subscription renewal as the only item.
At that point, I see my linked products and can add them to the cart – and then return to the checkout.
How would it be possible to get directly to that cart – or am I missing something here? Thanks again!

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Time zone incorrect on ics feedJust confirming from my end: It now works fine for me, too – the time zone conversion to my local time zone works as expected.
Thanks for the efforts made to get this fixed, and thank you to the others who chimed in – telling me that I wasn’t alone.
As I was the originator of this support thread, and as it works for me now, I mark the topic as “resolved”.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Time zone incorrect on ics feedSame here: New release (2.5.4), same error.
It is too bad that Time.ly does not publish release notes for this plugin.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Time zone incorrect on ics feedBenjamin –
Thank you for looking into this – but unfortunately it did not help.
I just deleted all calendar entries, upgraded the plugin to 2.5.3, and refreshed the feed from my google calendar.
The same problem still persists.– Recurring entries displayed correctly.
– One-off entries displayed in GMT.If you give me an email address or other contact information I can give you the link to the calendar I am trying to feed into my site – so that you can try yourself.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Time zone incorrect on ics feedDoes this have to do with us being forced to run the subscriptions through their servers??
I upgraded from a 2.3 release to the 2.5 release – which forces us to go through them – and now I encounter this problem.
Is this, maybe, a problem on their end?The silence from Time.ly is not a good sign…
