i am getting different error when trying to run website from home computer

here is error message chrome gives me home:

FastCGI Error

The FastCGI Handler was unable to process the request.
Error Details:

The FastCGI process exceeded configured request timeout
Error Number: 258 (0x80070102).
Error Description: The wait operation timed out.
HTTP Error 500 – Server Error.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

Seems to be all in order on providers end. Websie and admin panel still would not load

i got it finally resolved. the problem was home.html file in my root folder. after i moved it out everything works fine even with index.html in root.

ok so i have been trying to solve this, so as of right now by getting rid of index.html again, the old site does not load anymore but neither does new one. instead i get error 404.

is there anyone who could help with this issue? i have all the website complete now but still cant get it to work properly.

yes, i had index.html and i have renamed it, but it would still not work. there is only one file named index in my root folder now and that is index.php but i am still getting my old site

ok, so just to clarify. my wordpress installed into blog folder. there is no .htaccess file in this folder. there is index.php that i copied to root and edited.

thanks but it didnt work as i dont have htaccess file in my directory. copying and modifying index.php only didnt work. any other way how to do this?

thanks again for the help. i checked on my home pc and everything works properly. must be something going on with my computer at work.

the code is still there. looks like it works for you so it might be just my computer acting up. will try to check on another pc later today. i have cleared cache on my chrome browser here but it did not help.

thanks, it didnt fix the problem however. i played with values but it doesnt seem to affect it. i have to hold mouse over 2 or so seconds for it to go blue. this happens when i transition mouse within the menu space. if i move mouse from image below over the menu it turns blue right away. if i move mouse from home to about us, it takes 2 seconds. weird
