Found the problem… that php file was never added to this theme. I added it and I’m good to go!

Just came across this. I want to have some sort of interface/view that lets the site viewer (not just the admin) see how many times a file has been DLd. Is there such a plug in for wordpress?

you shouldn’t have to edit anything. I see the banner/pic on your site, so isn’t that the result you were after?

Look in the CSS for “#header” and see what the .jpg is named. Then take the banner you want to use and upload it into the directory listed in the CSS.

What theme are you running?

IMO, the WYSISYG editor is poop. I turned that off and never have such errors.

Why not add this to each portion of the sidebar: <?php if (is_home()) { ?>

What do you mean by this? You edit files in the theme editor, but you don’t see the changes?

oh DUH. I didn’t bother to look at that page, but there’s a note in there that says “if you want to bring up the sidebar..”

See, I thought that conditional only affected the theme switcher? What I don’t understand is how I removed the php call for the ‘activity’ to show in the sidebar, so it doesn’t show that in the main page, but DOES on any other page. That confuses me, because I thought the sidebar was accessed on all pages.
