It depends on what kind of content you plan on putting on the site. Some people like Textpattern’s implementation of pages better than the WordPress’, but I haven’t used Textpatter, so I can’t comment directly. Alex King wrote up a bit on his experience using WordPress as a CMS. Also, if you really want a more full-fledged CMS, you should look at Drupal.

Whoops, sorry. Try using \wp-admin\sidebar.php. You can add it to your browser sidebar at the bottom of User > Profile in your WordPress admin.

You can get audioblogger to send an email of the post containing the audio clip to a specified email address. Just point it at your WordPress email addy to have it automatically post. You’ll probably want to write a function that will strip out unnecessary content from the email.

Textile and Markdown plugins are included with the default installation.

Virtually all of the wysiwyg editors I’ve tried produce invalid code. You’re better off using Textile or Markdown.

I think WordPress uses MetaWeblogAPI. I’m not sure if hblogger support the MetaWeblogAPI, but I know <A href=”https://www.blogplanet.net/index.shtml”>BlogPlanet does.

I understand the desire to generate some ad revenue, but that adsense banner across the top looks pretty assy, particularly on a blog with such a subdued design.

Hmmm. I can get to your RSS 2.0 feed here. The /feed/ permalinks don’t work, though. There’s got to be an error in your .htaccess file. I would check that to ensure your feeds are being redirected appropriately.

Do you have custom permalinks enabled? If so, try updating your permalinks. (Options > Permalinks)
