I’ll use the workshop and figure it out. Thank you for your help. I probably will talk to my webhost about any problems relating to the blog and their graphical interface. Thanks for setting me straight on the actual help you can give, to the help(perfect world) that I imagine you could give.
it’s up, but i don’t know how to add posts.
can you help me get a new blog up on my site? I probably will copy and paste from the archive later.
I need the plumber to help with the leak.(waka, waka) I thought it would be easy once I had access to my website manager, but I forgot everything about the blog. I need to get the backup, either the one you posted before or we need to find the plugin that I had before.
I sent akismet a request and next I’ll be checking out the email I had it sent to originally.
alright, thanks.
Stand by…akismet needed the api
yes that is only part of the entries and yes I made backups. I had a plugin that did backups and I think I also had the domain doing backups too.
Good and bad news, the good is that all it turned out to be was my vpn, I just needed to change my password and shut off my vpn to do so. It is a brand new blog under the same name ‘blog’. I got an agent that knew about the vpn, other agents would drop the call or flat out say they couldn’t do it. Yes I still have the domain, in fact I’m thinking on setting up the blog to as close to what I had as possible. I don’t think I’ll be able to get my old subscribers back. I believe I have my api number somewhere.
Free was good while I could get it I guess.
Thanks for your help, I appreciate your knowledge.can’t even get to my web hosting dashboard. login.luminate.com’s server IP address could not be found.

In reply to: I tried the old way…then the new way.Well 6:00pm came and went and no notification. I went back into notification settings and went through all subscribers and set them to receive periodic emails. I remembered that was a problem I had in a previous version.
Thanks,

In reply to: Ghost post?I just did run a repair on my DB and nothing happened. I thought a manual upgrade might do it too way back a few months ago.
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Ghost post?in WordPress 3.3, it still is happening. It says i have a total of 752 posts, which 273 are published and are real. I thought if it was a cosmetic mistake then by v3.3, it should be fixed. It is not, so now I am thinking it might have been caused when I tried manually installing it and got impatient while waiting for a core update and terminated the setup before it was done, corrupting setup files.
