In reply to: [Leaf] How to change Font sitewide?i have a child themes but I am a little confused on how to use it still.
I go to editor and my child theme pops up but when i cut everything I had from the custom css box from the leaf theme originally and paste it into the child theme box in editor, it just takes away all the changess I had made using the custom css box.
what do you mean by downloading the files and putting them where?

In reply to: [Leaf] how to stop category achivinghey Im new to this so bear with me
I did all the steps you said above. the child theme is activated and I am now using it. however I dont know where to paste the code you entered above.
on the right side of the editor I have two options. functions.php and style.css
do i just copy what you put above into one of those?
thanks for the help
awesome. do you have a recommendation for a plugin?

In reply to: [Leaf] Header width and slider questionsyou will have to resize the actual image you are using so it will fit in your header. your image is too small if it does not fit.
trying messing with the image size and reuploading it on to your site and see if it helps

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Share Buttonswow, I definitely did not see that at first. Thanks so much Jeremy!
for the second part, i might be confused. Is the facebook “like” button a different thing than the facebook “share” button? When someone “likes” your post where is this information posted on facebook? or is it not and only the fbook “share” button posts something?
Sorry I am new to all of this…

In reply to: [Leaf] Header width and slider questionsalso your images have to be a certain aspect ratio to fill the box. i believe it 700 x something sorry i forget but search the forum and you will find it.

In reply to: [Leaf] Header width and slider questionshey. an easy way to fix the header issue is by entering this into your Custom CSS editor, which is located under the appearnance -> Leaf Options and then scroll down to custom css.
.site-header {padding: 0rem;} .site-header img {padding: 0 0 0 0px;max-width:210%;float:left;}
you can try messing with those numbers if you want. I did. I dont think this is the best way for a couple different reasons but I am a newbie at this whole thing and it worked for me. Try it out and let me know.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Share Buttonsalso when I use the icon + text the option to share to facebook pops up.
when i use the “official button” option, the option to like the post appears.
These are two separate things. Is there a way to have two separate buttons for these instead of having to choose one or the other.
thanks again

if you go to the menu under “my jobs” and click “teaching in thailand”
the header title reads “category archives: teaching english in thailand”
Ideally i want it to just say “teaching english in thailand”
