Ok, I just deleted my list and made a new one, then chose it in the MailChimp widget settings. That worked.

Ah ha- it was either the illegal characters in my filenames or the ACL’s in my S3 account weren’t set to public. I just posted this in case anybody else was having similar issues. But to clarify- it’s not a problem with the plugin or Safari.

Thanks for the reply. The shortcode is spitting out Flowplayer. Where can I choose jsvideo? I don’t see the option to chose it anywhere. and I thought the whole point of the plugin was to chose Flowplayer for Flash (on old browsers) and jsvideo for iPhones, etc. But I could be wrong ??

Thanks for the reply- I actually found this method before but I don’t want thumbnails because that would mean images in the post. I don’t want images in the post because the posts contain videos. That’s why I thought using featuered images would be ideal becuase I could have the video in the post, then have a still from the video as the featured image, and that would show up as the thumbnail. Make sense?

I guess I could always wrap the image in a div set to display:none and that would hide it in the post, while still generating a thumbnail. But that’s a hack I’d like to avoid…

Could I somehow do it with custom fields?

I have the same issue in IE7- the video overlays my header. All other browsers work just fine (big suprise). Maybe just a CSS tweak?

Is there a way to show the featured image?

Or maybe there’s a way to just serve up the same Flexi Pages widget on both the English and Spanish versions?
