Give Meta Slider a shot. It worked after acting goofy for about a minute. It would cover text and then just “worked”.

Equally, try playing around with the settings of your slider; we might be in the same boat.

I think I cracked it:

There are two files you’re going to have to edit, both php.ini files. One is in the PHP folder
(C:\wamp\bin\php\php5.4.16\php.ini)
the other is in the Apache foler
(C:\wamp\bin\apache\Apache2.4.4\bin)

in both cases find extension=php_openssl.dll.

Remove the ; symbol (one has two of them – still remove both)

From there, click the WAMP logo and choose Restart All Services.
