Did you look at what kind of feed the Technorati bot reads? I am using not wordpress, but s9y and have similiar problems: When I only offer the RSS 2.0 feed to Technorati (via autodiscovery technoraty finds the feed by itself) I don’t get listed. If I also offer the ATOM 0.3 feed to Technorati via autodiscovery my feed gets listed. However my tags also don’t get listed. At least the content gets indexed though.

Can be used inside .htaccess, too, AFAIK, setting an encoding for that directory and below.

That’s a workaround. Sure I can change the number of posts per page, evertime I want to edit older posts, but it’s not a bugfix. And since it will affect the frontpage as well as the admin area, I do not think it’s a good way.
What we need is a way to page through the posts in the admin area. Or is there one and I am just missing it?

Ah…. not that explains a bit more. Looks sweet. Though the design wastes a lot of screen space. At least over here. Only the center area of the page is used, which leaves about 3/4 of the screen unused. Looks nice, but I think you see too little and have to scroll unneccesarily much.

Why not try install WordPress and see what it can do for you? Maybe you have some more precise questions after that? ?? It’s a bit hard to know what you’re looking for.
Hints for designs I think you can find out all over the forums here, looking at other blogs. ??

Well actually that is not quite correct – but there is difference: Without gzip the page starts loading immediately and displays as soon as there is something to display. With gzip it takes about 5-10 seconds more and will only display if the page is fully loaded.

Umm – what I se, what makes a big difference is gzip compression for pages. Without gzip compression a page loads immediately – and with it I have to wait about 20 seconds (on a 15 posts frontpage)…
