In reply to: [SVG Support] WP 4.7.1 Kills SVG@bengodhi … Used scp to move my svg – didn’t work for me as a work around. @freakpants conditional modifier worked perfectly. I’ll need to remember those mods and undo when you have it all sorted out. :-}

In reply to: [SVG Support] WP 4.7.1 Kills SVG@benbodhi I’m a little shocked to learn the core team would ignore SVG, but considering the issue isn’t persistent in the alpha 4.8 code base would lead me to presume the devs are taking a step in supporting SVG.
Thanks for the plug-in and your efforts. It’s a very well laid out GUI, simple documentation, and functional … just what a plug-in should be.

In reply to: [SVG Support] WP 4.7.1 Kills SVGGreat process to use Git for repo of sites. I do so little on web side to have thought about it, but color me inspired!

In reply to: [SVG Support] WP 4.7.1 Kills SVGI don’t have any issues with a couple of lines of code and good commenting. It’s easy to roll back if it doesn’t work.
In this case, it didn’t work. I cleared the browser cache to ensure the new code base was pulled in and the same error was thrown.
Diff between alpha 4.8 and 4.7.1 might reveal the issue if they haven’t gone hog wild on development changes.
Just imagine if the entire code base was moved to Phalcon ….

In reply to: [SVG Support] WP 4.7.1 Kills SVGThanks for the additions to the issue. Saved me a little effort going through the proposed steps and confirms my suspicions that 4.7.1 broke support for SVG.
Not sure there’s much you can do on the Plugin side. We may have to wait for an intermediate work-around until 4.7.2 is released.
