Rolled it back with an update.

I honestly have no clue how they do ratings here. I would have to assume that they don’t vanish every time an update is released, but maybe each release has its own set of ratings? I mean, that seems kind of like a terrible way of doing things…

Still looking into what’s going on with the plugin, though. If its doing this in the wild, I would like to be able to reproduce the circumstances/see the bug in action so that I can go about fixing it, but so far, no luck. I’ll keep trying.

I’m having a bit of difficulty recreating this bug, to a certain extent. I was able to get it to spit out 6 posts that weren’t related to the featured tag, however, after changing the featured tag to something else and back again the system seem to play catch up and everything worked as it should – with exclude activated.

Initially, it was spitting out 6 posts, but changing it from homepage to homepages and back to homepage set the featured posts slider to only spit out 3 (I only had 3 posts tagged homepage for testing purposes).

I even tried it with a fresh install of the plugin, and it was giving me the 3 posts that were tagged as homepage with exclude module activated.

(EDIT: Can you post a screenshot of what you have as your Exclude settings (does disabling exclude fix this issue?) )

First, apologies for not getting back to you sooner (they should really come up with a way of alerting us when there are open issues…)

I’ll look into this and get it resolved as soon as I can.

Latest update fixes this issue. For safety, I deleted the entire contents of the plugin folder, downloaded the latest version, and uploaded all contents via FTP and reactivated. Works.

Disabling the plugin/deleting the .htaccess stuff seems to be the only thing working (at the moment). Also, logging out seems to just lock out you completely out of the installation. If you’re reading this and haven’t upgraded yet – I would say, don’t.

(1) Premium theme that you didn’t do anything to (looks just like it does on the purchase page). Nice… choice, I suppose? (2) You have no functionality. (3) There is nothing more to be said because there is nothing more to see.

I patched up an update that should fix this. Load up the My Optional Modules dash, make sure that “disabled” is selected for post as front, and press save these options. It should disable it.

View your images and tell me that the addresses aren’t beginning with the following: i*.wp.com. You’re using Photon, a Jetpack extension, that speeds up image loading by hosting copies of the images on WordPress’ CDN and then serving those to the visitor instead of the ones in your uploads folder. So yes, you are hosting images on WordPress’ servers.

(1) Age gate is pointless.
(2) Content is a major part of any website, and you don’t offer content that I can’t find on hundreds of other websites (in a much better format, no less.)
(3) The fact that you spelled your display name ToRmEnTeD suggests that you aren’t old enough to view your own site.
(4) 75$ to run the site? Really? What horribly, overpriced hosting do you have that you can’t set this simple site up for anything less than 75$?
(5) Serving porn over the WordPress.com main servers via Jetpack. Direct violation of their TOS: “the Content is not pornographic, does not contain threats or incite violence, and does not violate the privacy or publicity rights of any third party;”
(6) I can only assume that you don’t actually own the copyright on any of these images – so why are you plastering your logo all over them?
(7) Why are you disabling right click? I disabled that in one click with a handy toggle Javascript Firefox addon. Again, another pointless addition to this pointless website.

I could go on, but…

It also looks like you were able to clean up the category/tag stuff I had mentioned earlier with no problem, so I’d say you’re underestimating your own ability here.
