i have checked and the issue is with the language code you are using with the plugin file names.
it should be plugin-name-el.po (not plugin-name-el_EL.po) as WordPress does not recognize the local version of language for Greek and just recognize top level language identifier.

With this update, your translation file names should be: boo-recipes-el_EL.mo and boo-recipes-el_EL.po

Hi @nao,

I have updated the plugin to use the correct text-domain.
I have translation files for German in the languages folder but its not automatically picked by the www.remarpro.com translation setup, don’t know why….

This is exactly what i found out about the issue.
The problem is i am struck due to this COVID situation and does not have all the tools i require to work on coding side.

I am trying to get this done by the end of the week or so.

i guess it might be added by one of the themes you installed.

and this plugin came packaged with that theme you installed.

its not spam by any means.

Links are fine as when you click, the links show up in browser bar but then redirects to homepage.

Looks like you also updated your theme or other plugins that may have messed up the permalinks.

Please re-save permalinks.

admin dashboard > settings > permalink

The plan is to move to Gutenberg editor which is the editor for wordpress after version 5.0.

If the old WYSIWYG editor is required, i shall see what i can do to bring it back.

Expected turn around on this one is within a couple of days.

We are working on an update which is due by the end of October.

This and some more bugs like:
– import/export of recipes not working properly
– search missing the recipe title however it search in ingredients and instructions.
– Quick edit sometimes removes the recipes metadata

it seems there is a formatting issue in your shortcode.

it should be:

[recipes_browse recipes_per_row=”2″]

there is a ‘limit’ parameter available but not ‘recipes_per_page’.

This option is not currently available.

I am working on a big update that is expected to come in Mid-November.

These options shall be available in that version.
