    OK, that worked perfectly. Thanks once again.

    I have noticed something that I would like to inform you about. If I define the calendar inside Gutenberg as a PGC block or a shortcode, the grid view displays more than one event per day differently than it does when you set it with Elementor. Everything else is almost identical. To be more precise, in the first scenario it will show one event inside the square field/day and add something like “+12 more” if it has 12 events that day. If set inside Elementor it shows the list of all the events for that day right away.

    Additionally, I am trying to understand how to achieve the same result with shortcode and JSON. With your help, I managed to get the shortcode to display the ListView with the specified start date. However, for the Gutenberg block, I can’t get it to work. You might ask why I want to do that in the first place. Well, because of what I wrote at the beginning. When someone wants to check the grid/month view it would be much better for her/him to be able to see all the events for a specific date, without being confused by that +n link, and that only works correctly inside Elementor setup.

    {
      "validRange": {
        "start": "2020-05-25"
      },
      "defaultView": "listWeek",
      "eventDescription": "true",
      "header": {
        "left": "prev,next today",
        "center": "title",
        "right": "dayGridMonth,timeGridWeek,listWeek"
      }
    }

    [pgc public=”true” calendarids=”id1,id2,id3″ default_view=”listWeek” valid_range-start=”2020-05-25″ first_day=”1″ eventpopup=”true” eventdescription=”true”]

    Thanks for your assistance. I will test that.

    Thanks. I am using it for the conference that will happen in the future. Instead of entering almost identical data into two separate calendars (for speakers and attendees) I decided to go for Google calendars because I can use it as a reminder for speakers but also as the program schedule for attendees.

    Of course, the problem is that I can’t display that schedule as a list before the event. So it would be cool to have something like [pgc start_date=”2020-05-25″]. Something similar was discussed here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/43858289/fullcalendar-display-within-date-range (and on some other threads)

    Even if that is supported I don’t really know how to write it as a shortcode and I can’t get it working as a JS either.

    @samtuke thanks. I might do that. I mean, we have the Give plugin already integrated and almost ready to go. The ratings and what we see on reviews gives us a lot more confidence and somehow I feel that the support they offer is more consistent. Still, I think that WP Crowdfunding is a great idea and most of the features they have listed is what we actually need. We’ll see. Cheers!

    @samtuke I would love to give this plugin a chance but I am really suspicious. A lot of those 5 stars ratings are by people who have only 1 or up to 3 reviews at www.remarpro.com. That’s why I would really want to know more about your experience. Thanks in advance.

    @samtuke did you maybe investigate the plugin further? Were all of your requests from the above implemented in the recent updates? Thanks.

    OK, I didn’t see this either. I didn’t manage to fix it so I just replaced Beaver Builder’s contact form with Gravity form which fixed the problem. In it, I’ve created a hidden field, under Advanced I’ve checked “Allow field to be populated dynamically” and have added author_email as Parameter Name.

    Sorry for waiting. No, I didn’t use that other plugin, just found that it had a similar problem. Also, the problem with taxonomies wasn’t solved so I switched to another plugin for the front-end submission and editing of the custom post types (WP Frontend Publishing Pro). In the meantime, I also tried doing it with Caldera front-end publishing and editing, an amazing plugin which works almost as good, just make no sense to allow everyone from the same role to edit everyone’s else entries, so I decided to give up on it.

    Looks like this isn’t a problem with this plugin only. Difference is that I’m almost 100% sure that the numbers I get aren’t taxonomy ID’s but I will check again. Unfortunately admin of that plugin didn’t provide any solution for the problem.

    This is just my honest opinion and a friendly suggestion for Jeff Star, the author of the plugin.

    Please add an option to edit posts in the front end. This is just a logical thing to do. People need this option and you would get more customers for sure.

    I think I have watched all of your videos, but in the end I didn’t install. Instead I’m testing Caldera, Formidable, BuddyForms, Frontend Publishing Pro and some other combinations that include Gravity Forms. All include front end editing. Makes no sense to allow folks to submit on the front end and edit in the back end.

    On my sites I often run contests and have an option for people to edit their entries, just because 10-15% of participants ask to edit something in their entries. Same things is happening when they submit articles or create their user profiles (front end as well).

    Trust me, there isn’t a satisfying solution for front end editing only. I’ve tested all of them. Those linked on your site are not very well rated. With that reputation that you have you shouldn’t really suggest people to use those plugins.

    Once again, this is just a friendly suggestion because I really respect what you are doing. I would live to use your plugin(s).

    OK, it is working now but now there is a problem with taxonomies. I will write another support post about it.

    Thanks once again. Much obliged. So when you say “I actually did the Featured Image first…” are you actually saying that you have checked that Featured Image option in the Pods Advanced Settings? I have that option checked. Then you connect the GF Upload Field to that WP field, right?

    Jim, thanks so much for taking time to do extra testing. Not sure why it won’t work for me. I will try again. Do you think it is possible to produce such problems if new Pods field was created and connected later after the previous GF and Pods custom field connections have already been established?

    (@boonika)

    I think if you try to do it with the Gravity Sticky List you will also be able to edit Gravity entries. The final custom post type entry won’t change either but the new version will be created. This may get you half way there.

    Just to be more clear – the idea is that the message gets delivered to any address/value entered in the pods email field that the BB contact form email field is linked to.

    Cheers!
