I’ve deleted the hidden photos from the album, reinstated the secret code, and we’re back working!
So my work around for future will be to back up the photos that would be hidden to a separate album altogether.
Cheers!
the only change was the removal of the secret code as per above issue, but if I put that back in then the original issue returns.
Hi Sayontan
After using the above fix to get an album to load, I am now unable to use the Photonic plugin to add an album to a page/album in WordPress.
The message I get is “No data returned. Error code 401” – I’ve tried using both current (default) user and other user. Please let me know if you are aware of what is causing this issue…..
Many thanks!
thanks – removing the access token secret value has fixed the issue.
there are two photos that are hidden in smugmug, but one I had hidden as a test that will be unhidden again shortly.when I get some time I’ll try redoing the authentication altogether to see if that helps.
Cheers!
Thanks, but unfortunately that hasn’t fixed the issue.
I not only tried Largest Available, but also Medium. Each file size is over 4000 pixels wide in the Smugmug gallery.
Since previous galleries are working, I also tried deleting the post altogether and redoing…. the new URL is:
https://www.scottspics.com/?p=3466With each browser check I’ve been clearing the cache too.
thanks for your assistance
Legend!! Thanks very much!!
Agreed! Any challenges with the plugin are quickly reviewed by the developer.
If only all developers were so easy to deal with! Thanks again Sayontan! worked a charm.
I guess the photos were too small for large to work.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Nomad World Map] Locations are not linked any moreI had this very same issue. Tried deactivating plugins to look for a conflict, but none rectified this.
However, I had changed my permalink structure, & when I changed this back to the default way, the linking has returned! Happy days!
Hopefully this works for you too.
thanks again Sayontan! love your work!
thanks. strangely – it did used to show me the photonic images! hence i noticed when it didn’t.
thanks for your work & efforts! i must go & “buy you a coffee”!
Hi Sayontan,
To give you a link is awkward, but I will create a post which shows the issue.
This is the shortcode
[gallery type='smugmug' view='album' nick_name='scottspicsau' album='69798375_wrJnwt' layout='square' columns='5' ]This is the link to the Smugmug album
https://www.efngo.net/Ships/Celebrity-Solstice-23DEC16/i-XCj29n4If I use the photonic helper, it is not showing all of the albums either – and these aren’t private albums.
UPDATE: This is the post that I was having issues with:-
https://www.scottspics.com.au/?p=1534in the area creating the post, the Photonic area only showed the media that was uploaded for the post – not the Smugmug images. However, once I’ve published the post, they are showing correctly.
WEIRD!! but hey, it’s functioning!
Hi Jason,
I’ve only just noticed your post – I will have another look at Slimstat once I can get this latest Photonic/Smugmug issue sorted (see below)Hi Sayontan,
For some reason I have hit a similar issue again.
When I go to show a single album, rather than show the photos from the Smugmug album, it only shows the images that I’ve uploaded into wordpress for that particular post.
Strangely, looking at previous posts with Smugmug links, they all seem to be functioning, including the lightbox! However, I went into one of them to see if I’d done anything differently, and then it wouldn’t show the correct images.Could I please ask you to have another look for me – I’ve made absolutely no changes since you rectified my last issue other than other plugin updates.
Thanks in advance!
Thanks – I’ve upgraded my API, & also the plugin to 1.57.
All works well!btw, i haven’t tried the 1.57 upgrade again yet……
