How could I redirect following:
/authors/names* to
/authors/names*/downloads

names* is always different

I am getting ‘too many redirects errors’ when trying to redirect following:
https://booksmango.com/author/name*/ redirects to
https://booksmango.com/author/name*/downloads/

*For name* I would like to add a wildcard as this changes – I tried many different versions but all get the same error and page cannot open (too many redirects).

Can someone help how to set this up correctly?
