Hi Amit – if you are around I have yet another problem I can’t solve and maybe you would be kind enough to help me?

I would like to change the color of my main site title in the custom css area. My site title is picking up the color of my site links and I would like to change it to something different, but keep the current color for my links elsewhere on the site.

Any advice you could offer would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Amit – thank you very much for sorting out my issue … yet again! I really appreciate your help. Could I trouble you for two further pieces of advice? I typed the tagline into the text field in lower case, but it shows up on preview as upper case – is there a way to make it stay as lower case? Also, is there a snippet of code I can insert to change the font of the tagline?

Hi Amit – excellent … you’ve sorted out another problem for me – is there anything you don’t know about WordPress!!! I’m really grateful. I searched around online for a solution for some time – there were code suggestions for other themes, but I couldn’t find one for OceanWP, either on this forum or elsewhere. Thanks again.

Hi Amit – thanks for getting back to me – I managed to sort it out with a bit of fiddling around in the customiser – I’m not sure what I did but it seems OK now. Thank you for you kind offer of help – I appreciate it. Maybe you will be kind enough to help me again when my next problem comes along, probably sooner rather than later!!! Thanks again.

Hi Amit – brilliant … your advice worked! I’m really grateful for your assistance – thanks. Now I need to sort out my other issue which is giving me a headache … but I guess I need to open another topic here? My site title has some how ended up in the middle of my main header image and I can’t find a way to move it to top left beside the main menu above the header image (the area where it sits on a new install of OceanWP) – also, if I replace the site title with a logo it also stays in the middle of the header image.

I also can’t find a way to take the link off the site title. I don’t want to use elementor for anything – I used it yesterday and got in a mess – I then also messed up a few pages when I tried to revert them back to using the standard WordPress page editor.
