Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Auto update to 3.04 issueTwo things I’d love to see happen with WordPress’s internal upgrade feature:
1) I’d love for it to work. Just once. I’ve never, EVER, been able to use the WP upgrade that’s been available since 2.7.
2) I’d love even more an easy way to find (fewer than two clicks please) exactly what files were updated and if a DB upgrade is necessary. To go through an entire upgrade over 10 files is overkill.
I use my FTP programs synchronization or comparison utility. Upload the necessary files, check if a DB upgrade is needed and Bob’s your Father’s Brother.

In reply to: Can't Access Multisite Back-endsYES! You are my new favorite person in the world. You were right!
I added the ServerAlias *.mydomain on a separate line then restarted my HTTP. And it works!
Thanks Andrea – you’re the best ??

In reply to: Can't Access Multisite Back-endsThanks for the response. I checked the settings in https.conf, and made sure that *.mydomain.com was listed in the Server Alias line. I’m wondering if I should restart my Http or DNS service?

In reply to: Page Template menu displays page code too?I too am having this problem right now (ver. 2.0.6)
All my templates appear to be created properly, in fact, the same templates work fine in a 2.0.4 version on a similar site.I’m bumping this because I couldn’t find anything else remotely similar after searching the forums.

In reply to: Move login form to a page within my siteThis is something I have been wondering about as well – a way to put the actual login forum on my home page. I played around with it for a while, but haven’t quite figured it out. I successfully put the forum on there, but it wouldn’t function correctly. I assume I’m missing something simple.
