In reply to: Global/Master Themeancawonka,
Thanks for writing.
With 100 sites, sub-domained, I just want to change the CSS in one location, and have it used in all sites.
Right now, I am adding CSS to override via the Customizer, but this is used to make a site unique from the others. I’m looking to do the opposite.
It looks like I need to edit the existing Style.css (or other css) to create the change in look & feel, but this will not survive a theme update (that overwrites).
So the need is to (as safe as possible) have one theme, all sites use it, and a change to the master changes for all.
You see, all my sub-domained sites in my network are meant to look & feel like they are on the same “site”. That is, the user would peruse the various sites in the network, seeing the same exact theme, and not be aware that they are on different sites.
Make sense?
You can always start with something like this:

In reply to: What do users with theirDomain.org see when using sub-domains?You guys are awesome. Ready for the ‘twist’? I have an ssl cert for MY base domain & unlimited sub-domains. I’m about to enable it, but I’m betting that without MY domain I address bar, it isn’t even used!

In reply to: Setting-up MultisiteThe term ‘parked’ does not exist in the WP 4.7 source code. It is a concept your registrar uses, as @sterndata has pointed out.

Then it’s too late; Too late for all of us… The terrorists have won-not with a bang, but with a whimper…

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] OverratedLet me assure you, good sir/madam, that there was nothing ‘H’ in your ‘IMHO’! Well said.
And still per my first comment, the OP has yet to give a single justification, situation, comparison, or use case to illustrate, justify, or detail the claim.
If ‘it sucks’ is an example of a constructive comment/review, one that can be used to improve said product (sadly, the purpose of a review is missed on the OP), then today’s youth are to be feared not for their evil designs, but for their staggering stupidity & ignorance.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] OverratedMaybe the authors are feeling a little bummed lately, running out of steam, and wondering how someone is conning users out of $90/knock off…
If true, I think maybe the authors posted a ‘fishy’ (per camu) review so we could all come out of the woodwork and let them know how good SS is!
Well… Mission Accomplished! The actual users of the sw think it’s great. You guys rock. Period.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] OverratedI must be getting old… How has the OP helped make the product better, again? “lame ass stats plugin” doesn’t exactly show the way, or does it?

??No offense to the dev, but I think this plugin is an overrated POS. I do QA. That’s my profession. This plugin sucks and is full of bug. It’s NOT accurate at all. I think people think it si because of the positive reviews, but it’s basically weak as hell. If I qa’d this plugin, the dev would throw darts at a pic of me. Seriously, they’d f-ing hate me. Anyways, lame ass stats plugin. It has a really nice interface and layout, and all that jazz, but coming at it from a dev/logic perspective, me gut tells me it blows. But, free and pretty, which is why I sad no DR to the dev. But for real guys, if this is you claim to fame, whatever, do better. Much better. Your design is solid. Your math and coding blows.

In reply to: [Twitpic Expander] [Plugin: Twitpic Expander] Doesn't workIt works fine in 3.1, but the header mashing is an issue, and the plugin is abandoned. I checked with validator.w3.org, and it was a complete mess.
I think what is happening is that the plugin is reading and trying to parse text even when in the WP-Admin “console”. It starts trying to write headers, etc. and it really shouldn’t have any output.
Anyone else have any luck?

In reply to: How to show blog posts on another web page? Thanks!
I’ve been trying those kabillion, and having no success. Some require the blog and website be on the same filesystem (which mine aren’t), etc.
BuzzBoost looks promising…
Thanks!!!
