In reply to: [Calculated Fields Form] Form is breaking the cover block ?Hi,
Thanks for that but having deleted the form from the cover block I still have the problem.
I deleted the cover block totally and the cover block didnt behave as expected when I tried to install it again so there must be some other explanation for this issue which, by the way is driving me nutsHi,
I have just installed a cache plugin which seems to have done the trick, sorry for being a nuisance.

In reply to: [Advanced Ads –?Ad Manager & AdSense] Adsense is breaking my imagesHi @schmidt25
I have found the cause of this issue, it turns out it is the use of auto to set the column size. When I added the three columns I did not set a % size for each column which meant google auto ads was placing an oversized ad into one of the columns and causing the others to automatically scale less. I went through every column that had the image and set each column to a fixed % which seems to have fixed the issue. The two outer columns were set to 37% and the middle image column set to 26% leaving the two outer columns enough room to fit a standard size google ad to fit inside. It has pretty much forced all to fit by setting fixed sizes.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: I am still having issues with images breaking the centre blockThought I would post to the community my answer to the images bursting out of the column.
The three columns were set to auto which is 33.333% each.
The page width is 1200px / 3 = 400px. The adsense width is min 378px so when you take into account margins/padding etc the size of the ad is bursting the columns.
I reset the columns to 37-26-37 % with the centre (image) at 26% the other two outer columns are larger therefore giving room to accommodate the ad which seems to work.
Because the auto ads size limits cannot be set they will make room for themselves to the detriment of the other columns in the group.
Another fix is set each page in the theme to full width and the column block to full width but I found that was too wide for my page presentation but it does fix the issue. This issue was only seen on desktop, mobile and tablet was not affected.Blast !!!! I have just had a look at this page on chrome – https://mygolfdays.com/golf-courses-in-scotland/west-lothian-golf/bathgate-golf-club/ and its broken grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
@jamesosborne I have just added the auto ads into the header in my child theme and so far so good. I would really appreciate it if you could do a check on the site and confirm from your location the images are all okay.
Thank YouForum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: [Advanced Ads –?Ad Manager & AdSense] Adsense is breaking my images@schmidt25 Thank you for your response, I have already tried the disable specific positions to remove from the top of the page. I have tried disabling the auto and used traditional ad placement.
The only pages 360+ where this happens is in the three column (centre Column) gutenberg gallery loading the fullsize images rather than the thumbnails and If you reload the page it seems to sort the problem which would suggest it is during the initial page load this is occurring.
My site was originally built using Joomla so I decided to change to Worpress, it has taken me 3 months to build the 400 pages in localhost and to find it all breaks when uploaded to the live server is rather annoying that a solution cant be found.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: I am still having issues with images breaking the centre block@corrinarusso I would like to thank you for your help, I am fully aware how these support forums work becuase for the last 7 years I have been helping others out on the Joomla forums and would if I have the chance help out on this forum also.
With your help we have identified Google adsense as being the problem possible causing scripting issues hence the new support ticket throwing it out there for any others that might have had this issue. I have just rebuilt my Joomla site in localhost with WordPress and found it a very refreshing feeling however the last thing I expected was when I uploaded the site to the live server would be a simple thing like Google adsense breaking a Image Gallery. You have pointed me to devs etc but surely this must be a wordpress issue.
I am aware that these threads get lost in space and felt now that a specific issue was identified someone might recognise this single issue and it would have been better working on a single issue rather than confusing the problen at the end of a long thread. Now that this has been deemed not worthy I have a real problem deciding whether to go back to Joomla due to a breaking wordpress core image gallery.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: I am still having issues with images breaking the centre blockSo!, the new topic created by me was moved to this one because the moderator decided “continue with your earlier topic rather than confusing everyone with a new one. Thanks.” I wasnt confused because the question I posed was why is google adsense breaking my image gallery and is there a fix and if not is this a bug.
Well that might be all well and good however it will be interesting to see if anyone ever goes far enough back to when the original was posted to help or it might be because there are no answers available and “out of sight and out of mind” springs to mind.
I will await with baited breath and you can expect another ticket on Monday if there is no help forthcoming ??Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: I am still having issues with images breaking the centre blockThere seems to be some correlation between the adsense code and site breaking.
I have the site kit plugin installed and one reuseable block with an adsense banner.
Deleting the adsense code from the reusable block and deactivating the site kit plugin seems to stop the problem and as You @corrinarusso have pointed out this auto height !important might be a factor which allows the auto adsense code from displaying anywhere (dont really know, just guessing), the auto ads seem determined to add the code for an ad at the very top of the page.
So the next question what is the solution and by that I dont mean NO adsense. It seems any Google code is breaking this image/gallery block by loading full size images instead of the thumbnails therefore this must be a WordPress issue by allowing this to happen
