Although this problem ended up being unrelated to your widget, here’s how the “Continue Reading” issue was resolved: Following the instructions by the Weaver Xstreme developer, enter this into the Custom CSS box in the theme options:
a.more-link {display:none;}
Maybe someone else reading your support forum will make use of this as well.
One more bit of information before I retire for the evening:
On the live website I can duplicate an existing Feature A Page widgets but I cannot add a new Feature A Page widget. With my live website, https://www.placesandpics.com , the Feature A Page widgets that were in place before the upgrade are still displayed. But I cannot add any new Feature A Page widgets…
This is quite serious for my site. Can I roll back the Feature A Page Widget to the previous version?
I believe I’ve narrowed down the problem.
The front page at https://www.placesandpics.com is created with PageBuilder by Site Origin.

Your widget works in the sidebar widget areas, but no longer works in the PageBuilder rows. I’ve tested this with Weaver Xstreme, Twenty-ten, and Twenty-Fourteen. The symptoms are that you can choose a page to feature or select any of the options, but nothing is saved and the Feature does not appear on the page. The Widget Customizer is not an issue, and works well with the latest version of Feature A Page Widget in my tests.
As a test, I disabled the Widget Customizer plugin and it made no difference with either issue.
Yes, I’ve posted about it at the Weaver X support forum. No reply yet.

I’m using the latest version of WordPress, the latest version of Weaver Xstreme theme, and to customize the widgets (border, rounded corners, background color) I’m using Widget Customizer.
Thanks for the reply. I’ll have to use InstantWP to see if the default WP themes are affected in the same way.
Here is a screenshot of the box that won’t close.

In reply to: [Rotating Lightbox Gallery] Doesn't work, and furthermore…After leaving such a harsh review, I’ve been second-testing this plug-in. My advice, Stay Away! Somehow it interferes with the website formatting including H tags, fonts, text colors, spacing…

In reply to: Clean up SiteMap clutterBased on the code in the Editor, I have determined that the sitemap is indeed part of the Weaver Xtreme theme and not a feature of WordPress itself. So I’m taking the question to their support forum and marking this topic “resolved.”
Sincere thanks for your time.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Clean up SiteMap clutterI’m not using an SEO plugin. But it could be a feature of the theme. Thanks for bringing that up. I’ll look into it.
I’d give a link but the site isn’t live yet. The theme I’m using is WeaverX.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Clean up SiteMap clutterOh I get it now… No, I don’t want to add a google map to my website. I want to fix the Site Map. A site map is an outline of all the pages on the website. It’s even a ready-made page template in WordPress.

In reply to: Clean up SiteMap clutterAre you suggesting I should create an html page from scratch?
WordPress already creates the SiteMap, it’s a built-in function of the WP software. I just need to know how to fix it. I was assuming there’s a set of configuration tools somewhere in the dashboard. Just can’t find them.
Or alternatively a plug-in replacement for the poor WP sitemap?

In reply to: Clean up SiteMap PageIs it OK to bump this? In only five days this unanswered topic has dropped like 300 pages back. What a horrible forum layout…

In reply to: [Feature A Page Widget] Center the featured image? No worries, got ‘er straightened out. I had originally edited the pics to be 100×200 for the featured images, which left just a little wiggle room in the widgets. Re-edited the pics to 150×300 and it works great. ??
