In reply to: [Super Page Cache] Minor glitch after last updateThanks for getting back on this.
I’ve tried swapping versions, 4.7.10 and 4.7.11 a few times, and there’s definitely a difference in perfomance.
The new version is much slower to populate, and misses many hits, even from the preloader.
Can you take a look?

In reply to: [Super Page Cache] CF Page Rules are deprecatedAfter more than 24 hours, all is still fine.
But just as a check, is the new one cache rule the same as the previous four, but simply combined?
As far as I can tell, all the elements look the same.

In reply to: [Super Page Cache] CF Page Rules are deprecatedI’ve reactivated the new one cahce rule, and all seems fine now.
The Ninja contact form is now loading correctly.
I’m not sure why, but I purged the cache a few times, and then everyting was fine.
I’ll monitor it for a few days before making the change to my main site.
But for now, all is good.

In reply to: [Super Page Cache] CF Page Rules are deprecatedYes, I tried that, and all looked fine.
But that’s when I ran into the problem of my Ninja forms not loading for non-logged in users.
The only way around it I found was to remove the contact page from caching. Not the best solution.
But with the old rules and setup, the forms load perfectly.
Any ideas why this would occur?

In reply to: [Super Page Cache] CF Page Rules are deprecatedOkay, thanks for the information.
As everything is working fine, I’ll stay with the existing setup of 4 cache rules and one page rule.
I will wait for your update and then see how it goes.

In reply to: [Super Page Cache] CF Page Rules are deprecatedHi,
Regarding the new cache buster rule. I just updated from the old four Cache rules to your new single rule and deactivated the old page rule.
All went well, except for one small issue.
I use Ninja forms, and the contact form wasn’t showing for non-logged in users.
I managed to fix it by adding this to stop the contact page from being cached:
URI path does not equal /contact/
Is this the best fix, or is there a better alternative?

In reply to: [Super Page Cache] TOC JS injection not working on mobileOkay,
Thanks for confirming the problem.
Looks like I’ll have to revert to my previous settings.

In reply to: [Super Page Cache] TOC JS injection not working on mobileHi,
Thanks for getting back on this issue.
I’ve checked all my plugins, and I can’t find any that are using
wp_is_mobile()
.The only plugin I use that differenciates between desktop and mobile is Ad Inserter. But it’s inserting client side, so I don’t think it is the cause of the problem.
If I set Easy Table of Contents to add a TOC inline in both desktop and mobile, it works fine when cached.
It’s only when I set the desktop as a sidebar widget, and mobile inline that I strike the problem.
Have you used this set up succesfully?
To me it seems as though I need the TOC inline on desktop for it to work on mobile when cached.
Any thoughts?

In reply to: [LuckyWP Table of Contents] Is this plugin abandoned?Override was a feature of Lucky TOC, too.
It lets you override the defaut TOC settings on a single page in the edit screen.
As for your exisiting TOC links, it’s not an issue. Everything works the same. All I had to do was modify a bit of CSS to tidy up the look.
The only other change I have made since changing plugins, is to move the TOC to the sidebar. But you can do this with either plugin.

In reply to: [LuckyWP Table of Contents] Is this plugin abandoned?Yes, I replaced the plugin because it was apparent that it would never be updated.
I replaced it with Easy Table of Contents, but there is a noticable difference in how the jump links work.
With the old plugin, GSC indexed the jump links as extra pages. But with the new plugin, the links don’t get indexed.
This may be a result of changing plugins, but it could also be that Google’s algorithm is working differently now.
I’m not overly concerned, but you might want to consider this aspect as it may potentially affect SEO.
Thanks for your advice.
