Regarding the features you have requested, the ability to allow IPs to override the Coming Soon page is actually going to be included in the very near future – I have had quite a few people request that.

I haven’t heard about the different device type preview, however I think it’s a great idea! I’ll put that on the todo list – I’m not exactly sure what release but I’ll put that in at some point.

Yeah, you are correct – when WordPress itself is updating the plugin does not take effect. It’s meant for outages when the webmaster needs to take down the site for longer term site maintenance.

Hi, unfortunately because the Coming Soon Plugin is rendered completely outside of the normal WordPress rendering cycle, the plugin doesn’t support shortcodes. However, it does support HTML for all fields.

You could do one of two things:
1) Find a Constant Contact HTML form that allows you to submit directly to them and include that in the description field while turning off standard Coming Soon Page email collection.

or

2) Collect emails using the Coming Soon subscriber capability then export the list as CSV (comma separated values) and import into Constant Contact. The process is explained here: https://easypiewp.com/creating-mailing-list-coming-soon-page-subscribers/

Hi, yes there is. In the latest version (0.5.4) I’ve added the ability to put in a list of URLs that will display the normal WordPress page at that location rather than the Coming Soon Page. Please let me know how that works out for you.
