When i have the eNews settings, what code do i put there from MailPoet(Wysija) to activate the form fields, how do i get e.g. the neame field to show up ?

Thought that it had something to do with the page id, but was told that i couldn’t use get_permalink ..

In most themes you have a Page line/menu, where users can click on the desired page, and see it – that’s just what i would like to do – i want to cut off the Posts, and only use Pages ..

Pages are easier to order than Posts too, it’s easier to control how they show up in th menu, with Posts, you have to set date and time, and there’s to much to the Post-thing, Pages are a lot simpler ..

So the only thing i need to do, is tho get the theme to show the Pages like it now shows the Posts – like “polaroids ??

The way it works here is great, when a Post is created, a new “polaroid” appears, and that’s what i want to do with Pages instead ??

And why you ask ??

Be course the sites needs to be able to run on itself like WP does, you write a post/page and pres publish – the ones who is going to use the site and update it, does not know anything about coding, and are not going to learn it .. and the sites need to work like this so they can ad Pages with the info they need to show to the users ..

So the trick is very simple actually, i just need to figure out how to switch from Post to Pages, so the theme will work with Pages instead of Posts ??

What you see on the homepage(index.php) is the posts, it’s like a blog, but shown as polaroids ..

What i want to do, is to show the Pages in that way instead, so that when you click a “photo” it shows a Page, not a Post ??

I just have on question left then..

Is it an advantage letting the subdomain share DB with the main domain, or is it better to keep them separated ??

Using the same posts on both domains must be easier with the same DB, but then again, if the DB fails, then both domains fail..

The main domain is my blog for posting articles and stuff, and the subdomain will be my clinic/business part..

My server allows me all the DB’s i want, so that’s not a problem, space and bandwidth is not a problem either – and i’m only going to have a few more subdomains under this main domain/install..

So if i understand you correctly, and if i understand what i have found on network install, the only thing i gain is that i can install wp from the main install to subdomains, and also therefor can delete them as well ??

But i don’t think the memory size is the problem, casue i just tried to update WP from 3.0 to 3.0.1, and it gives me the same error, so it must be a setup thing, any idea ??

Have now tried the Google doc embedder, but that was of no use, can’t handle those large documents, very odd, the one tested was only 8mb, and the plugin seams to be able to handle up to 33mb…

It’s only 8mb, i just compressed it from 52mb, but look at the numbers, it should be able to hold 33mb, so how is it that it can’t hold 8mb ??

I’m not that interested in the formats, if people would like to download it will be pdf’s..

The thing that interests me is how to integrate the reading into the webpage so it looks like a book, or if you use zmag, or some other software, where you can flip pages – but it needs to look just like that when you click and wanna read an article – not showing you the rest of the page/blog – and of course there needs to be a back home button, or next article..

If there isn’t a theme, i don’t know if it would work iFraming adobe reader on a page, then you still could keep the top menu for navigating..
