Although ive been in this business for far too many years. I am totally confused as to the configuration of this plugin…Why waste the time writing this code and then not bother to update the documentation…is it too much to ask for…

I have been using Hierarchical Documentation on my 1&1 account, PHP5, for some time now but when I use the same database on my WAMP Localhost server I have been getting the above error.
Have just inserted the new code and it runs perfectly.

I have made copies of the 2 templates and they are working really well now,
thank you.
A small point. A lot of the formatting that exists using Twenty Eleven is not present when using Twenty Twelve. Is there a way of getting around the problem.

have just downloaded the latest version and it is clashing with an existing plugin ‘Hierarchical-documentation’ that I am using on my main website

Error:

Cannot redeclare class Markdown_Parser in C:\wamp\www\testing\wp-content\plugins\hierarchical-documentation-example\app\libs\markdown.php on line 51

I will answer my own question:

Being a windows guy I loaded WAMP2 on my PC and tried again.

I had to add a line to the beginning of the wpmvc.bat file:

path=C:\wamp\bin\php\php5.4.3

to set the path to the PHP directory

Anybody loading WAMP on a new Windows machine who cant get phpMyAdmin to work should:

at Command Prompt window ping localhost
reply 127.0.0.1 if you get a reply ::1:

you need to # out the ::1: entry in the HOST file using Notebook, and you will need un-protect the file in its properties page, sometimes Notepad will add a .txt to the file, rename it in Windows Explorer.

Re-test with Ping.

Do people actually create Plugins or is this some, large, Linux community joke..????
