I have a similar but different problem.
Users who appear to be logged in (in that they can view other protected pages) are informed that Booking is Closed for all events. If they log out of the site and then log back in then suddenly they can book.
Any suggestions?

The problem is now resolved. Your suggestion of running debug mode identified the problem when I was logging in (previously I had not logged in as debug was running); the problem being that the table wp_options was read only so preventing full login. The ISP subsequently fixed this but has not managed to explain how this arose except that it also affected other clients on the server too.

This morning I have reloaded the latest WordPress version by copying the folders and files but the problem still remains.

There is not error.log or error_log file.
At present the site has only the plugins needed to enable php processing and to hide an extra menu. I have tried disabling these too but to no result.
I have used debug mode and got the error list most which is deprecated instructions in the exec-php plugin. However there is also an error “Table ‘wp_options’ is read only”. I don’t recall seeing this yesterday but could this be the problem?

We want blue text so this is going a bit too far as some text may be hidden against the background but hopefully I can work from this.

We want to change the text color. The person who managed the site before me has been doing this for each text block which is a pain.

As a result of having both plugins we have a number of pages which one would expect to do the same but they each have different content and we fear have caused some problems when users edit their details, especially password, through one – but not sure which.
For example:
An edit profile page from WP Symposium with the code [wps-usermeta-change]
and an edit profile page from Simple WP with the code [swpm_profile_form]

Is it possible to remove the phone field in the free version?

I have a similar problem.
I have only one type of ticket for an event and would like to include the option for someone to order zero tickets as a way to indicate they will not attend. The ticket is not flagged as “required” but the only options are 1 or 2. How can I make 0 an option

Will this be lost if the theme is updated?
