In reply to: need some info on a websiteThanks. I’ll try that, but when I address accessibility with this site owner, I’m either ignored or given the BS argument that this software wasn’t designed with accessibility in mind. One more thing, does allthingsradio.net use the plugin in question? If so, why is its player accessible but the Format Change player isn’t?

In reply to: need some info on a websiteThanks. Does that mean I should ask this site’s owner to deactivate that plugin?

In reply to: audio not working on one postIs that my only option? I re-uploaded the file via FTP last night, but WordPress won’t update it automatically. Is there a way to do this?

In reply to: prove your humanity with a math problemOk well it’s back again. Is there a way to get rid of this without disabling Jetpack?

In reply to: prove your humanity with a math problemJan, you’re likely right because when I logged in to make a small update to my site last night after a Jetpack update, it was gone.

In reply to: error 429, too many requestsThanks. I’ll go ahead and call this resolved since many others on my host are experiencing the same problem. I’ll do some hunting for the error log.

In reply to: error 429, too many requestsI’ll try that, but I’m wondering if there is some sort of log I can get from my host to understand what’s causing this. I was able to log into the site and update the page I’ve been trying to update yesterday, but I need to make another change today and it’s not working again. My concern with deactivating all plugins or manually updating is after logging in I’ll think “Ok this is resolved” only to find out the next day that I can’t log in due to this same error.

In reply to: error 429, too many requestsUgh, it’s back again, and I didn’t even try to log in several times this time. What could be causing this? As far as I know, there hasn’t been any updated to plugins recently, and if there has, why is it working sometimes but not all the time?

In reply to: error 429, too many requestsOddly, I didn’t do anything and this has resolved itself.
Great, thanks. I’ll ask over in the support forums on my host to see if anyone else is having issues. Oh and sorry Jan, I wasn’t sure if this topic would still be watched since it was marked resolved.
Ok, I’m not sure if that answers my question though. This also happened with the core WordPress update last night. The update itself isn’t failing, but there’s this annoying note on every backend page of my site that says it has. It al takes a long time to update, muchlonger than any of the other plugins or themes I have running. Does this still sound like a resource issue?
