I created a custom wordpress page template and put it in my templates folder of my theme. My problem is using the do_shortcode function you mentioned. I can’t get it to work. Could you post the code of what it should be?

I had: <?php echo do_shortcode(“[pdb_list]”);

add_filter(‘username’, ‘do_shortcode’, 11); // ?>

But nothing happens. Help! I’m so close!

Ok, so my first question was already well documented by you, xnau. I placed the shortcode [pdb_signup] on the front-end profile page. When I added a title I get the message:

“Thank you, [first_name] for signing up!

You will receive an email acknowledgement shortly. You may complete your registration with additional information or update your information by visiting the link provided in the email.”

For my purposes, I don’t need that and the game I added is nowhere to be found. What’s the next step here?

Based on what has been discussed thus far, do you think I should implement my video game collection database with an Advanced Content Type?

Thanks for your response. My site isn’t going to be a marketplace. I just want my members to be able to create a collection list of the games they have so they can keep track of their collection and also show others on the internet what they have.

How do I get started in creating this?

Hello Tobias. I’m trying to do something like this but for WordPress:

Any user can add or delete games on their personal list that is already in the database. However none of the users will have admin access though. And I don’t want other users being able to edit other people’s lists.

Is this possible with TablePress?
