I discovered the problem, it was not a plugin conflict or issue with contact form 7.

The problem was that we migrated from .com to local domain (via redirect) and I never noticed the change caused captcha issue.

Thanks for the feedback and assistance.

@buzztone Same google account has 14 different sites and only this one does not work. This site used to work with captcha v3 and seems to break after an wordpress or plugin update.

Now that I think of it, it might be a plugin conflict.
    Will update with progress.

    Thanks for responding.

I have confirmed that I am using contact form 7 version 5.1.1, wordpress version 5.1.1.
Using captcha v3 (newly created to ensure no issues). Confirmed that the secret key and private key is correctly copied.

I checked everything I can think of, but the issue still persists.

Any way to update my review, I decided to update the plugin since I saw you were there to support in case I needed to ask any questions.

The update went smoothly, and you did reply with assurance quickly.

You are right I was expressing frustration, but I did not do it unjustly. Like I said it was clean installation of a lamp stack on a clean installation of windows 7 on a clean installation of WordPress on a local machine.

If you get a message that says imported successfully and no database entries were made, the plugin did not test every test case of potential issues, did not properly double check if content was created.

I have no idea if the documentation changed since my review (7 months ago), however even on good reviews you can read that they say it is buggy. I was pressed for time and the plugin wasted more time than it was supposed to save.

I just iframed the HTML files to get them to show, just to show a mockup of what our designer created in PowerPoint which I saved as HTML file using PowerPoint.

In hindsight I should have known that Microsoft’s obscure HTML content would be near impossible to convert.

Do not be dismayed by my opinion/rating, it gives the plugin credibility that says not just friends tried the plugin.

Clean wordpress installation on wamp localhost. If there was something I failed to do, or did incorrectly it just means that the setup and basic usage was not explained. Only reason I left a rating is because this plugin looks promising and was a waste of time when time was of the essence. Without basic usage explanation and error response when it does not work as intended this plugin rating should not be at 4.5 in my opinion.

This might be due to facebook not supplying the data on shared posts. There is only so much you can do with facebook API that is there to taunt/torture developers.

If you want to see if there is a difference between shared and non shared posts you will need to edit the plugin in PHP and dump the data to the screen.
