In the media library. Going to call my hosting company to see if they can help as I get no reply from the theme creator other than I have a lot of stuff cached. I have cleared that, installed a cache plugin, unistalled..etc…

Esmi, the images appear when I open them up to edit them, it’s only after I save them that they go poof and all I see are blank thunbnails.

Here’s the deal.
Before 4.1 was released, you could go under the Appearance tab, click either header or background and do what you wanted to do; say for example use a solid color for a background.
Now, click either of those and the pop up box for the Customizer opens… thus eliminating the ability to use the dashboard links.
It’s not a theme issue as the theme I use is quite compatible with WP.
And besides, I’ve talked with the theme developer as well as folks who ought to know, this is a WP thing…

I have sent Facebook feedback ( and more than once) but just about no one ever gets a response from FB.
I saw a thread like this over at WordPress.com from this past April..
apparently FB “resolved” the issue on it’s end.
However, I know of several other bloggers who use the WP.org and are having issues.
