Hmm, yeah I wasn’t sure if single quotes was the problem or not. I’m using Firefox 1.0.6 and I’m unable to click through the links.

I really like the layout and the color scheme, especially. All it really needs now is some polish.

I can’t seem to get this thing to work at all in firefox. It does just fine in IE, though. I created a directory for the images to be rotated, dropped the rotate.php file into that directory, and called to it from my style.css with

#banner {
...
background-image: url(images/banners/rotate.php);
}

I have my site set up to show only one post on the front page, but when I use this code snippet to limit to one category, it disregards that setting.
It limits posts on index.php to a single category but shows more than one entry per page. Any help would be great.

I tried the code provided by Moxie and it did the job…it limited the posts shown on my homepage to one single category.
I have a problem, though…It overrides the “Show the most recent: X posts” setting found in the wp-admin under Options>>Reading. I want to only show 1 post by default. Any suggestions.

It’s a real pain in the butt.

They’ve been great…haven’t had any trouble.

I think I’ve got it fixed. I had to apply a width to #content just like NuclearMoose suggested. I set it to something too small (eg 300px) and stepped it up until IE couldn’t handle it correctly. Consequently, the distance between #menu and #content are now greater than I would prefer when using mozilla, but it looks fine IE. An acceptable trade-off. I also went through my HTML and commented all the divs to make sure they were all closed correctly (they were).

Wow…never expected so many replies. It’s not like I want to get thousands of people to go to my site…It’d just be nice to write knowing that there are people reading.
Root, thanks for the idea of putting the Amazon stuff in a div rather than a list. I’ll try that.

I’ve installed the Amazon Media Manager 1.1 but I’m having trouble getting it to align correctly. Check it out here…
