Thanks Jared. No rush as far as I’m concerned. Just curious mainly. I am not sure I would even notice much of a performance difference between 7.0 and 7.2. Someone else using my theme recommended 7.2 so I thought I’d run the test.

    Hi Greg,
I think whether or not Toolset can help you depends on whether the CPT created by your events plugin/theme is one that Toolset recognizes. You can install the free Types plugin to find out.
Since this is off topic of this thread we should communicate elsewhere. Whats the best way to do that?

There are likely several different ways to go about this, but I’ll share mine in case its helpful. What I like about Jared’s plugin is it brings CCB groups into the back end of WP and makes them available as a custom post type but doesnt do anything else. Its not bloated with a lot of other functionality that often limits you on how to present the group info on the front end. For that I turn to Toolset by wp-types. Toolset is a powerful plugin that basically allows you to do php without knowing php. It gives you a GUI interface to accomplish php coding. The Types plugin of the Toolset family creates CPTs, and the Views plugin makes it easy to display CPT content on the front end. In this case, wpccb is creating the CPT already so its doing the work of Types. Toolset “sees” this wpccb-created CPT which means you can use its data in Views.

So say you have a small groups page built with Divi, and on the page you want to recreate your own version (styled how you like) of CCB’s public group finder, with options to filter by group type, day, location, etc. You would create a View in Toolset that has both the search/filter fields and the search/filter results. Toolset allows you to drop this into your Divi page as a shortcode. Add a or change a group in CCB and its automatically displayed on the front end of your site.

There is a learning curve with Toolset but once you get the hang of it it is extremely powerful. Sermons, staff, events, etc can all be CPT’s created (Types) and displayed (Views) by Toolset.

wpccb lets you manage your groups info in CCB and Toolset Views lets you display this any way you like on the front end of your site. And if you change themes you can take this functionality with you, needing only to restyle it to match the new look.

For the same group as my previous reply:

    <group_type id=”8″>Couples / Family</group_type>

Most of our groups types are 1 word, no spaces or special characters.

Using my first group as example, XML shows (copied carefully and exactly, note difference from your sample):

    <group id=”417″>
    <name>ST: Young Married Couples (Weber)</name>

    etc…

    </group>

All our group names have a colon and/or parentheses in the title as in the example above. Removing all special characters from one of the group names as a test and then re-syncing removed some incorrect taxonomy data but did not replace it with correct taxonomy data.

Hey Jared – this is great news! Your plugin is key to my church’s new web site, and hopefully now I can complete it.

I have updated your plugin to v 1.0.0, confirmed the API settings and performed a sync. My current 17 CCB groups were imported but most of the taxonomies are wrong – i.e. they’re either missing or for example the wrong group type is associated with the group.

I am not talking about how they display on the front end. I haven’t gotten as far as that. I dont have any custom code yet to be updated with new slugs, etc. I am talking about how they appear in the back end WP admin panel.

On my church’s existing site we are using the default CCB iframe public group finder display so I can see that the groups and their taxonomies are set up properly in CCB and display publicly. But on my dev site using 1.0.0 of your plugin those same groups have the issues mentioned above. We currently have 7 group types but only 1 was imported into wpccb. We have 5 areas, but none imported into wpccb. We have 9 day of week options and only 3 imported. We have 3 meeting times but none were imported.

    Any suggestions?

This is good news. I just discovered this plugin (and that I can use it with Toolset!) and hope it continues to work with new versions of wordpress.

I believe this will be helpful and I appreciate the response.

What about the wp_options table? I see several hundred lifterlms rows there. Many begin with _wp_session and _wp_session_expires_ <- are these also Lifterlms related? They seem to be mixed in with the rows that are clearly from Lifter.

    Cheers

In the screen cap below (sorry for large size) you can see that:

    1) I have selected the green “Planted” image as my replacement image

    2) I was able to check the blue rectangle. Notice the small orange check mark just underneath it.

    3) I was not able to select any of the other images in the screen cap, regardless of what order I try. I can deselect and reselect the blue one only.

    Screen cap

I also tried using Safari in case it was a browser issue (Im using Chrome). Same problem.

I am also using the All In One WP Security plugin. It occurred to me that AIOWPS might be preventing Jetpack from connecting, so it was as simple as deactivating AIOWPS, connecting Jetpack, then reactivating AIOWPS. No problems.

    resolved

I am getting the same error code and message when I try to connect Publicize to Google+
Tried it many times and keep getting same error.

    blueoakschurch.org

When you try to connect to FB this message appears

Something which should never happen, happened. Sorry about that. If you try again, maybe it will work.

    Error code: -32300

I checked what I think are my server logs in

/big/dom/[mydatabase]/logs and searched for “AIOWPS” in the logs on 2/13 and 2/14 and found no matches

In the www/wp-content/plugins/aiowps/logs folder I find this:
