build links to the website, ask your friends for links, link forum profiles (like the one here), write more content based around keywords, tweet the hell out of your posts and grow your followers.
Sounds like a directory theme. Im afraid its best to ask people to register otherwise you run the VERY REAL risk of spam… even with logins the spam will be a nightmare as wordpress is pretty easy to game for registrations.
