thank you … it was one of the plugins.
I found the fix here for anyone else having the problem with the redirection plugin: https://www.ilertech.com/2010/08/whats-wrong-with-the-wordpress-redirection-plugin/
yes … same issue with my website.
index page was redirecting to latest post as a single post.
Disabled the redirection plugin and all is back to normal…
Any suggestions to fix this or use another plugin?
