In reply to: Getting the Post to Continue on a separate page.I’m afraid that if I change the permalinks url that the Comments link is going to be affected and it’s not going to go to the comments form. hmmmm I don’t know what to do.

In reply to: Index AlignmentI think I got all of the tables in the header, the footer and the index php pages to align left…whew…(pat on the back for me). Don’t ask me how to do it because if I had to do it again I wouldn’t really know! But I know I took out the </tr></td></table> of the header.php and I put it in the footer.php so somehow, the whole page is nestled in one table. I still have to browser test it and make sure all of the other pages are okay, but at least I’m one step closer to finally having this thing done! woo hoo!
I didn’t finish fixing all of the XHTML Transitional Errors (because there’s like 100 of them!!!). Will that have any effect on my page?

In reply to: Index AlignmentOhmygod! I don’t even know where to start in fixing these errors!! Are these errors what is causing the page to be not aligning left? I thought it was something I was overlooking in the css? I definitly plan on fixing as many of these XHTML errors that I can but do you think it’s just a tag in my style sheet that is causing the page to do this?
Let’s just say I didn’t fix any of the XHTML Transitional Errors. What would happen to my page? Thanks so much for your help. In case you haven’t noticed…I’m very new at php and xhtml so try to bare with me!!

In reply to: Links are going to my homepageThe htaccess file is at https://www.salonfurniture.com/html/
but the WordPress stuff is at https://www.salonfurniture.com/html/store/weblog/
I didn’t create this htaccess file and I think my server either put it there or it is a part of the Miva store that we have. I am a little nervous about screwing around with it. Will you tell me how I can safetly edit it and what application I should use to edit it? What do I need to change in this htaccess file that is causing these links to go to my homepage? Thanks!
