I made such a BIG mistake when uploading image files…

I made some images of the homepage with photoshop, but after that I used canva.com to add a few characters. Then I downloaded the image from Canva and I directly uploaded to the website, which was a terrible mistake. I didn′t realise that canva made the image so heavy (each one was more than 200Kb size), so now I just resized the image with photoshop and reuploaded them.
Now Pagespeed is giving me a very nice score

Yes, that is right. I removed the slider and the Pagespeed score went up. We will have to consider to remove some images.

I have meta slider plugin installed and there is a big slider in the header and another one in the body of the homepage.

So, the problem is the server as I thought right? I knew that a cheap hosting plan would give me this kind of problems but anyway I want to maximize page speed as much as I can.
If you wish, I will quit maintenance mode for the next half an hour, so that you can take a look if you want to ??
