My problem concerns the upload.
After hours of search, it looks that the apache server does not recognize me as owner…so this is why I need to manually set up 777 on upload folder to have my upload medias working…
Does anybody has the same ?
Have you solved it ?
Have you eventually asked something special to your host ?
and if yes : what exactly have you required for WP to work correctly ?

…I just found out that I can access the wp/admin with a dash at the end like
myblog/wpadmin/
if I do it without like :
myblog/wpadmin…it loops endlessly.

Furthermore I also discovered that my logo URL does not have this same dash at the end, leading to the same endless loop..
It looks like something is wrong with the dash…What could cause this ?

yes, it is set to 777, but it is absolutely unsafe. It is ok for fast fix but NOT on a long run.
Plus it is crazy put to 777, make the change, upload, put to 755 and 644 again…no, it does not this way as mentioned on my initial post

yes..well I guess so…i am on a shared one, but everything “look” on the same. I did not know that could happen.

before…and I got some problems since then. The only thing strange is that the other blog ( eng version) is fine. This other blog is very similar to the other problematic one…same plugins, same versions, same posts…just a different language.
Do you think it still could be a problem with the host ?
I’ve never faced this.

I re uploaded previous version that was fine : 3.3
The upgrade to 3.3.1 caused the problem, this is why I downgraded my version.
My host changed server config and I cannot check my logs for the moment…

@ahaveland. NO I don’t use memcached plugin

@shibulijack. Re-upload the upgrade files….Which ones ? I juts reuploaded all files from prev. version.
+ running /wp-admin/upgrade.php upgrade script what failed (check logs). Where can I check the logs ? My screen is blank.

Before doing so…I just went to all my posts and see that trackbacks are closed from a certain date on only. All previous post have trackback open. Could still it be a plugin ? a hack ?

Have you tried the plugin Facebook Comment ? Or Have you kept the SEO Facebook Plugin ? Does it work now ?
